USAUS Military contracts for FY11

ARMY

Sci­ence, Engi­neer­ing and Tech­nol­o­gy Asso­ciates, Arling­ton, Va., was award­ed a $48,200,000 firm-fixed-price cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the pro­cure­ment of the counter-bomber sys­tem to pro­vid­ed detec­tion capa­bil­i­ty of sui­cide bombers approach­ing a con­trolled access site. Work will be per­formed in Arling­ton, Va., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of June 20, 2014. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Nat­ick, Mass., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W911QY-11-D-0012).

Lock­heed Mar­tin, Mis­sion Sys­tem & Sen­sors, Owego, N.Y., was award­ed a $47,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract. The award will pro­vide for pro­cure­ment of autonomous tech­nolo­gies for unmanned aer­i­al sys­tems to max­i­mize per­for­mance require­ments and capa­bil­i­ties with mature tech­nolo­gies. Work will be per­formed in Owego, N.Y., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of June 29, 2016. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Fort Eustis, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W911W6-11-D-0008).

Oshkosh Cor­po­ra­tion, Oshkosh, Wis., was award­ed a $27,115,701 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the mod­i­fi­ca­tion of an exist­ing con­tract to pro­cure 50 Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed All-Ter­rain vehi­cles, to include basic issue items and kits, in sup­port of For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales to Unit­ed Arab Emi­rates. Work will be per­formed in Oshkosh, Wis., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Dec. 31, 2011. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, War­ren, Mich., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W56HZV-09-D-0111).

Upstate Con­struc­tion Ser­vices Inc., Water­town, N.Y., was award­ed an $11,577,144 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the spe­cif­ic task order of an exist­ing con­tract to con­struct an air­craft hangar and ren­o­vate an exist­ing hangar to upgrade elec­tri­cal, heat­ing, ven­ti­la­tion and light­ing. Work will be per­formed in Fort Drum, N.Y., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of March 30, 2013. One-hun­dred six­ty-nine bids were solicit­ed, with ten bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, New York, N.Y., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W912DS-09-D-0005).

NAVY

HDT EP, Inc., Gene­va, Ohio, is being award­ed a $20,850,977 firm-fixed-price deliv­ery order under Blan­ket Pur­chase Agree­ment (M67854-08-A-5023) for the pro­cure­ment of three mod­els of envi­ron­men­tal con­trol units (ECUs) in sup­port of the pro­gram man­ag­er, Expe­di­tionary Pow­er Sys­tems. The ECU quan­ti­ty and mod­els are as fol­lows: 50 each 18,000 BTU/hr ECUs; 887 each 36,000 BTU/hr ECUs; and 400 each 60,000 BTU/hr ECUs. Work will be per­formed in Gene­va, Ohio, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by July 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

J.G.B. Enter­pris­es, Inc.,* Liv­er­pool, N.Y., is being award­ed a $47,000,000 five-year firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery require­ments con­tract to pro­vide U.S. Marine Corps and Army a com­mer­cial sin­gle inte­gra­tor respon­si­ble for procur­ing, pack­ag­ing and ship­ping spec­i­fied tac­ti­cal fuel sys­tems and com­po­nents, and water sup­ply sup­port equip­ment sys­tems and com­po­nents. This con­tract con­tains options, which if exer­cised, will bring the con­tract total to $99,000,000. Work will be per­formed in Liv­er­pool, N.Y., and work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by July 5, 2012. With options exer­cised, work would con­tin­ue through July 5, 2016. This con­tract is a com­pet­i­tive small busi­ness set-aside with sev­en offers received. Con­tract funds will not expire by the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (M67854-11-D-5030).
