NAVY

L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Corp., dba L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Inte­grat­ed Sys­tems — Waco Plat­form Inte­gra­tion Divi­sion, Waco, Texas, is being award­ed a $104,059,653 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for ser­vices in sup­port of the P‑3, EP‑3, and NP‑3 sus­tain­ment mod­i­fi­ca­tion and instal­la­tion pro­gram. This effort includes planned main­te­nance inter­val, struc­tur­al replace­ment and fab­ri­ca­tion efforts per­tain­ing to spe­cial struc­tur­al inspec­tion kits, cen­ter wing assem­blies, Zone 5 kits, and out­er wing instal­la­tions and refur­bish­ments. Work will be per­formed in Waco, Texas, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in May 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $4,105,717 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via an elec­tron­ic request for pro­pos­als, with two offers received. TCOM LP*, Colum­bia, Md., is being award­ed a $41,221,670 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract for the pro­cure­ment of a pro­to­type of the 22M Aero­stat Sys­tem in sup­port of the Per­sis­tent Ground Sur­veil­lance Sys­tems for the Depart­ment of Defense. In addi­tion the con­tract pro­vides for tech­ni­cal sup­port per­son­nel for 22M sys­tems out­side the con­ti­nen­tal U.S., train­ing, and pro­to­type pay­load inte­gra­tion and test sup­port. Work will be per­formed in Eliz­a­beth City, N.C. (45 per­cent); Colum­bia, Md. (45 per­cent); and Afghanistan (10 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in May 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via a broad agency announce­ment, with 59 offers received. U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

The Boe­ing Co., Philadel­phia, Pa., is being award­ed a max­i­mum val­ue $95,400,000 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for engi­neer­ing sup­port ser­vices in sup­port of U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand. The work will be per­formed in Philadel­phia and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by May 24, 2016. This con­tract was award­ed as a sole-source after approval of a jus­ti­fi­ca­tion and approval doc­u­ment as an excep­tion to full and open com­pe­ti­tion under the author­i­ty of FAR Part 6.302–1. Ami­don Con­tract­ing Solu­tions, Youngsville, N.C., is being award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract in the amount of $8,064,508.94 for a base year and four one-year option peri­ods for range sup­port to the U.S. Army Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand. The work will be per­formed pri­mar­i­ly in Fort Bragg, N.C., and sur­round­ing areas under the direc­tion of the gov­ern­ment instal­la­tion range offi­cer. AIR FORCE

The Boe­ing Co., Seal Beach, Calif., is being award­ed a $16,151,151 cost-plus-award-fee con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion to the exist­ing Boe­ing IIF sus­tain­ment con­tract for the Glob­al Posi­tion­ing Sys­tem.
