TW Met­als, Inc., Car­ol Stream, Ill., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the sec­ond option year on con­tract SPM8EG-09-D-0009/P00043. The award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, prime ven­dor, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract with a max­i­mum $267,518,688 to pro­vide all types of met­als, met­al prod­ucts, and relat­ed ser­vices. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Penn­syl­va­nia. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. There were four pro­pos­als with four respons­es. MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

The Mis­sile Defense Agency is announc­ing the award of a con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion to Gray Research, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., under con­tract W9113M-05-D-0003. The val­ue of this con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion is $19,313,271, increas­ing the total ceil­ing con­tract val­ue from $188,381,767 to $207,695,038. Under this mod­i­fi­ca­tion, the con­trac­tor will con­tin­ue per­form­ing work under its pre­vi­ous­ly com­pet­i­tive­ly award­ed cost-plus-award-fee con­tract, pro­vid­ing data man­age­ment ser­vices for the Mis­sile Defense Data Cen­ter Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Huntsville, Ala. The con­tract order­ing peri­od is being extend­ed by six months, from July 31, 2012 to Jan. 31, 2013. Oblig­a­tions will be made using fis­cal 2012 and 2013 Research, Devel­op­ment, Test and Eval­u­a­tion 0400 funds. This is not a For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales acqui­si­tion. AIR FORCE

Sier­ra Neva­da Corp., Sparks, Nev., is being award­ed a $45,000,000 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost-no-fee con­tract to pro­cure prod­ucts and ser­vices in sup­port of the Pre­ci­sion Strike Pack­age Pro­gram. Sun Edi­son, L.L.C., Beltsville, Md., is being award­ed a $38,400,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract for elec­tric­i­ty to be pro­vid­ed from a pho­to­volta­ic array built, owned, and oper­at­ed by the con­trac­tor, locat­ed on leased prop­er­ty at Davis-Mon­than Air Force Base, Ariz., for a peri­od not to exceed 25 years. L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Sys­tems, Salt Lake City, Utah, is being award­ed a $10,005,050 a firm-fixed-price con­tract to pro­cure beyond line sight com­mand and con­trol for long lead com­mon data link items parts and labor. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Salt Lake City, Utah. Work is to be com­plet­ed by Sept. 19, 2013. AFMC/ESC, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8307-12-C-0006).

Raytheon Co., Mis­sile Sys­tems, Tuc­son, Ariz., is being award­ed an $8,796,079 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract to pro­cure hard­ware in the loop facil­i­ty upgrade and study. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Tuc­son, Ariz. Work is to be com­plet­ed by June 30, 2013. AAC/EBAD, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8675-12-C-0044).

Alloy Sur­faces Co., Ash­ton, Pa., is being award­ed a $7,631,613 firm-fixed-price con­tract to pro­cure air­craft MJU-50s impulse car­tridges, decoy flares. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Ash­ton, Pa. Work is to be com­plet­ed by Dec. 31, 2012. OO-ALC GHGKA, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8213-12-C-0062).

WASHINGTON HEADQUARTERS SERVICE

Sci­ence Appli­ca­tions Inter­na­tion­al Corp., McLean, Va., is being award­ed a $1,798,732 mod­i­fi­ca­tion, which brings the total of all pri­or modifications/increments to $14,916,624, under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (HQ0034-11-F-0080) to pro­vide mis­sion sup­port ser­vices for court room and case prepa­ra­tion. Work will be per­formed in Wash­ing­ton, D.C., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of April 14, 2016. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with one bid received. Wash­ing­ton Head­quar­ters Ser­vice is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE THREAT REDUCTION AGENCY

InfoRe­liance Corp., Fair­fax, Va., is being award­ed an $8,680,046 time-and-mate­r­i­al with firm-fixed-price options con­tract for expert Microsoft con­sult­ing ser­vices to ful­ly enable new tech­nolo­gies in sup­port of its busi­ness and mis­sion needs. The loca­tion of per­for­mance is Fort Belvoir, Va., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed July 5, 2013. Con­tract funds will be a com­bi­na­tion of research and devel­op­ment funds, and oper­a­tions and main­te­nance funds. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly solicit­ed through Gen­er­al Ser­vices Admin­is­tra­tion Advan­tage, and five pro­pos­als were received. The Defense Threat Reduc­tion Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (HDTRA1-12-F-0013).
