USAUS Military contracts for FY12

AIR FORCE

S&K Aero­space, L.L.C. (prime con­trac­tor), Saint Ignatius, Mont.; Parts, Inc. (sub­con­trac­tor), Stock­bridge, Ga.; and Gen­er­al Dynam­ics Infor­ma­tion Tech­nol­o­gy, Inc. (sub­con­trac­tor), Day­ton, Ohio, are being award­ed a $975,000,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-reim­bursable con­tract to imple­ment a pro­gram known as the Parts and Repair Order­ing Sys­tem IV (PROS IV). PROS IV will pro­vide For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales cus­tomers with main­te­nance and sup­ply sup­port to meet the unique require­ments of their weapon sys­tems and mil­i­tary infra­struc­ture. This is an indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract com­prised of firm-fixed-price and cost-reim­bursable con­tract line item num­bers. The loca­tions of the per­for­mance are Saint Ignatius, Mont., Stock­bridge, Ga., Day­ton, Ohio, and Warn­er-Robins, Ga. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed June 15, 2022. ASC/PKG, Wright Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8630-12-C-5018).

Dyna­Corp Inter­na­tion­al, L.L.C., Falls Church, Va., is being award­ed a $99,879,424 firm-fixed-price, cost-reim­bursable con­tract for the Egypt­ian Per­son­nel Sup­port Ser­vices Pro­gram. This pro­gram will pro­vide sup­port ser­vices for Depart­ment of Defense employ­ees, con­trac­tor per­son­nel, and depen­dents sta­tioned in Egypt per­ma­nent­ly or on tem­po­rary duty sta­tus. These per­son­nel sup­port var­i­ous For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales pro­grams on behalf of the Egypt­ian mil­i­tary. This source selec­tion will be the fourth con­tract to pro­vide sup­port ser­vices in Egypt con­tract­ed by the Air Force Secu­ri­ty Assis­tance Cen­ter. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Falls Church, Va. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed May 31, 2017. AFSAC/PK, Wright Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8630-12-C-5002).

Raytheon Co., Tuc­son, Ariz., is being award­ed a $6,973,286 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract for 18 range safe­ty sys­tems with jam­mer com­pat­i­bil­i­ty for Low Rate Ini­tial Pro­duc­tion 3, Reli­a­bil­i­ty Assess­ment Pro­gram and ini­tial oper­a­tional flight tests. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Tuc­son, Ariz. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Feb. 15, 2014. AAC/EBJM, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8682-10-C-0007, P00042). 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Med­Im­mune Bio­log­ics, Inc., Gaithers­burg, Md., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the first option year on con­tract SPM2DP-11-D-0008/P00003. The award is a firm-fixed-price, sole-source con­tract with a max­i­mum $27,175,067 for influen­za vac­cine, nasal spray. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Penn­syl­va­nia. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. There was one solic­i­ta­tion with one response. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012/2013 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is June 29, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

NAVY

L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Ver­tex Aero­space, L.L.C., Madi­son, Miss., is being award­ed a $21,209,470 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed an indef­i­nite-deliv­ery require­ments con­tract (N00019-05-D-0023) for logis­tics ser­vices sup­port of 119 TH-57B/TH-57C air­craft. Ser­vices to be pro­vid­ed include repair and/or over­haul of air­craft, engines, avion­ics, and relat­ed com­po­nents. Funds will not be oblig­at­ed at time of award. Work will be per­formed at Naval Air Sta­tion Whit­ing Field, Mil­ton, Fla., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Lock­heed Mar­tin, Liv­er­pool, N.Y., is being award­ed a $14,949,173 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-08-C-6282) for the pro­duc­tion and sup­port of mul­ti-func­tion towed arrays (MFTA) for the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 anti­sub­ma­rine war­fare com­bat sys­tems. The MFTA is the next gen­er­a­tion pas­sive and active sonar receiv­er. It affords sev­er­al enhance­ments to the AN/SQR-19 Tac­ti­cal Towed Array Sys­tem allow­ing greater cov­er­age, increased capability/reliability, and reduced obso­les­cence. Mul­ti-func­tion towed array sig­nif­i­cant­ly con­tributes to the capa­bil­i­ty of sur­face ships to detect, local­ize, and pros­e­cute under­sea threats and is a crit­i­cal sen­sor to a com­bat sys­tems suite. Work will be per­formed in Syra­cuse, N.Y. (60 per­cent); Bal­ti­more, Md. (20 per­cent); Cleve­land, Ohio (14 per­cent); and Phoenix, Ariz. (6 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Jan­u­ary 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Wal­bridge Aldinger Co., Detroit, Mich., is being award­ed $11,515,000 for firm-fixed-price task order 0003 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed mul­ti­ple award con­struc­tion con­tract (N40085-10-D-5331) for con­struc­tion of an H‑1Y/Z heli­copter gear­box repair and test facil­i­ty at Marine Corps Air Sta­tion, Cher­ry Point. This sin­gle-sto­ry high bay build­ing facil­i­ty will include a dis­as­sem­bly area, parts kit­ting area, production/control clean parts area, assem­bly area for the main rotor gear­box, assem­bly area for the imme­di­ate and tai­lor rotor gear­box­es, flush­ing room and inte­grat­ed qual­i­ty team area, main rotor gear­box test cell and intermediate/tail rotor gear­box test cell. The task order also con­tains one unex­er­cised option, which, if exer­cised, would increase cumu­la­tive task order val­ue to $12,005,506. Work will be per­formed in Have­lock, N.C., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by August 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Five pro­pos­als were received for this task order. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, Mid-Atlantic, Nor­folk, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Peck­ham Voca­tion­al Indus­tries, Inc.*, Lans­ing, Mich., is being award­ed a $10,050,079 firm-fixed-price con­tract for the pro­cure­ment of 2,020 CMU-37/P and 2,742 CMU-38/P air­crew endurance vests for the Navy. Work will be per­formed in Lans­ing, Mich., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract, which is a sole-source Abil­i­ty­One award, was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00019-12-C-0098).

Rock­well Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being award­ed a $6,505,448 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-09-C-0069) to exer­cise an option to pro­vide AN/ARC-210(V) elec­tron­ic radio and ancil­lary equip­ment for the MH-60 air­craft. The mod­i­fi­ca­tion pro­vides for the fol­low­ing quan­ti­ties: 48 RT-1990©/ARC receiv­er-trans­mit­ters for MH-60R and 28 RT-1990©/ARC receiv­er-trans­mit­ters for MH-60S. The work will be per­formed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity.
