USAUS Military contracts for FY10

NAVY

Lock­heed Mar­tin Cor­po­ra­tion, Lock­heed Mar­tin Space Sys­tems Com­pa­ny, Sun­ny­vale, Calif., is being award­ed a $920,783,000 fixed-price-incen­tive, cost-plus-incen­tive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract to pro­vide Tri­dent II (D5) mis­sile pro­duc­tion and deployed sys­tem sup­port. Work will be per­formed in Sun­ny­vale, Calif.; Ban­gor, Wash.; Kings Bays Ga.; and Cocoa Beach, Fla., and work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed April 30, 2016. Con­tract funds – $304,674,000 FY 11 O&NM and $44,000,000 FY 09 WPN funds will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The Strate­gic Sys­tems Pro­grams, Arling­ton, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00030-11-C-0100).

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Riv­iera Beach, Fla., is being award­ed a $20,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee deliv­ery order #¬¬0003 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-10-G-6306) for engi­neer­ing ser­vices to sup­port the reli­a­bil­i­ty growth effort for the Remote Mine­hunt­ing Sys­tem. The objec­tive of this deliv­ery order is to per­form tasks required to upgrade the Remote Mine­hunt­ing Sys­tem (RMS) design and vehi­cles in sup­port of the RMS Reli­a­bil­i­ty Growth Pro­gram, to include; engi­neer­ing ser­vices, test­ing, pro­gram man­age­ment and con­fig­u­ra­tion man­age­ment. Work will be per­formed in Riv­iera Beach, Fla. (90 per­cent), and Syra­cuse, N.Y. (10 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Sep­tem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds in the amount of $3,300,000 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

The Cam­ber Corp., Huntsville, Ala., is being award­ed a $19,397,932 mod­i­fi­ca­tion under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00244-07-D-0035) to exer­cise an option for tech­ni­cal and edu­ca­tion­al sup­port ser­vices to the Naval Post­grad­u­ate School’s Cen­ter for Civ­il Mil­i­tary Rela­tions edu­ca­tion and train­ing pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Kailua, Hawaii (2 per­cent); Huntsville, Ala. (2 per­cent); Mon­terey, Calif. (9 per­cent); Tam­pa, Fla. (2 per­cent); var­i­ous con­ti­nen­tal U.S. loca­tions (17 per­cent); and var­i­ous out­side the con­ti­nen­tal U.S. loca­tions (68 per­cent), and work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Decem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds will not expire before the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This effort includes ser­vices for the gov­ern­ments Aus­tria, Egypt, Indone­sia, Sin­ga­pore, and Sau­di Ara­bia (all less than 1 percent)under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via Navy Elec­tron­ic Com­merce Online, with two offers received. The Fleet and Indus­tri­al Sup­ply Cen­ter, San Diego, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Lock­heed Mar­tin Aero­nau­tics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $6,900,000 unde­fin­i­tized con­tract action (UCA) mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed cost-plus-incen­tive-fee con­tract (N00019-09-C-0010) for addi­tion­al recur­ring sus­tain­ment and sys­tem engi­neer­ing sus­tain­ment activ­i­ties in sup­port of the F‑35 Joint Strike Fight­er Low Rate Ini­tial Pro­duc­tion (LRIP) Lot IV pro­cure­ment. Work will be per­formed in Fort Worth, Texas (35); El Segun­do, Calif. (25 per­cent); Warton, Unit­ed King­dom (20 per­cent); Orlan­do, Fla. (10 per­cent); Nashua, N.H. (5 per­cent); and Bal­ti­more, Md. (5 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2010. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Hon­ey­well Inter­na­tion­al, Inc., Defense and Space, Albu­querque, N.M., is being award­ed a $6,567,624 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-09-C-0004) for the pro­cure­ment of nine T‑Hawk unmanned air­craft sys­tems and spares for the Unit­ed King­dom under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Albu­querque, N.M., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Work is to be per­formed in Cor­pus Christi, Texas., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Nov. 30, 2011. One bid was solicit­ed with one bid received. McCann World Group Inc., New York, N.Y., was award­ed on Decem­ber 7, 2010 a $75,000,000 fixed-price-award-fee con­tract. The Nation­al Adver­tis­ing Con­tract is to pro­vide mar­ket­ing and adver­tis­ing sup­port to per­son­nel acqui­si­tion and reten­tion pro­grams for the Depart­ment of the Army. Work is to be per­formed in New York, N.Y., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of June 6, 2011. Nine­ty-one bids were solicit­ed with nine bids received. This effort pro­vides Joint Impro­vised Explo­sive Devices Defeat Orga­ni­za­tion (JIEDDO) with pol­i­cy, strat­e­gy, inter­na­tion­al, and inter­a­gency sup­port as well as infor­ma­tion tech­nol­o­gy sup­port. Work is to be per­formed in Arling­ton, Va., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Dec. 14, 2014. Five bids solicit­ed with five bids received. Research Devel­op­ment & Engi­neer­ing Com­mand Con­tract­ing Cen­ter, Aberdeen Prov­ing Ground, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W91CRB-09-D-0057).

ITT Sys­tems Corp., Col­orado Springs, Colo., was award­ed on Decem­ber 8, 2010 a $17,291,002 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract for the main­te­nance, sup­ply and trans­porta­tion ser­vices in the sup­port of the Army Prepo­si­tion Stocks-Kuwait (APS‑5) and direct the­ater sup­port for South­west Asia mis­sions. Work is to be per­formed in Camp Arif­jan, Kuwait., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2011. Bids were solicit­ed on the World Wide Weds with five bids received. Linc Gov­ern­ment Ser­vices, Hop­kinsville, Ky., was award­ed on Decem­ber 6, 2010 a $15,033,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The pri­ma­ry objec­tive of the require­ment is to obtain a wide range of non-man­age­ment and tech­ni­cal sup­port ser­vices to aug­ment the May­or Cell units at endur­ing base camp loca­tions through­out Iraq. Work is to be per­formed in Bagh­dad, Iraq., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Dec. 6, 2011. Bids were solicit­ed on the World Wide Web with eight bids received. This order is for out­er tac­ti­cal vests for For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales for Afghanistan. Work is to be per­formed in Yazoo City, Miss., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of May 28, 3011. The Walsh Group, Chica­go, Ill., was award­ed on Decem­ber 8, 2010 a $7,538,788 firm-fixed-price con­tract. This con­tract is for the Back to Work Cost for Out­sized Car­go Facil­i­ty, to include replace­ment of two site work sub­con­trac­tors that went out of busi­ness dur­ing sus­pen­sion of work; and, replace­ment of fire sup­pres­sion sprin­kler sys­tem con­trac­tor that wet out of busi­ness dur­ing sus­pen­sion of work. ITT Sys­tems Corp., Col­orado Springs, Colo., was award­ed on Decem­ber 8, 2010 a $6,979,496 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract. The Army Sus­tain­ment Com­mand has a require­ment to main­tain autho­rized Army pre-posi­tioned stocks and repair and return equip­ment in Doha, Qatar. The objec­tive is to ensure equip­ment is received, account­ed for con­fig­ured, stored, main­tained, issued, and readi­ness is report­ed in sup­port of the Army’s force pro­jec­tion strat­e­gy. Work is to be per­formed in Doha, Qatar., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Dec. 31, 2015. Fif­teen bids were solicit­ed with five bids received. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, RICC, Rock Island, Ill., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W911SE-07-D-0006).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Coast Pro­duce, Los Ange­les, Calif.* is being award­ed a max­i­mum $9,207,077 fixed price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite quan­ti­ty con­tract for fresh fruit and veg­eta­bles sup­port. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and USDA School cus­tomers. The orig­i­nal pro­pos­al was Web solicit­ed with four respons­es. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is June 15, 2012. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa. (SPM300-08-D-P021).
