USAUS Military contracts for FY10

NAVY

Raytheon Co., Space and Air­borne Sys­tems, El Segun­do, Calif., is being award­ed a $52,250,000 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-09-C-0003) for the pro­cure­ment of 19 AN/APG-79 active elec­tron­i­cal­ly scanned array (AESA) radars to be retro­fit­ted into F/A‑18E/F air­craft Lots 26–29. The AN/APG-79 AESA radar, which will replace the APG-73 radar, will pro­vide increased air-to-air detec­tion and track range, increased air-to-ground tar­get­ing capa­bil­i­ties, longer launch range for stand­off weapons, enhanced capa­bil­i­ty against advanced threats, and opti­mized uti­liza­tion of the aircraft’s weapon sys­tems con­tribut­ing to the F/A‑18E/F’s sur­viv­abil­i­ty. Work will be per­formed in For­est, Miss. (43 per­cent); Dal­las, Texas (29 per­cent); El Segun­do, Calif. (27 per­cent); and Andover, Mass. (1 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Mis­sion Sys­tems and Sen­sors, Man­as­sas, Va., is being award­ed an $8,330,000 cost-plus-incen­tive-fee con­tract for light­weight wide-aper­ture array inboard equip­ment and asso­ci­at­ed engi­neer­ing and tech­ni­cal sup­port for two Vir­ginia-class sub­marines. Work will be per­formed in Man­as­sas, Va., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Octo­ber 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00024-10-C-6266).

Uni­ver­si­ty Mul­ti­spec­tral Lab­o­ra­to­ry, Okla­homa State Uni­ver­si­ty, Still­wa­ter, Okla., is being award­ed a $6,800,020 mod­i­fi­ca­tion under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, cost-plus-fixed-fee per­for­mance-based con­tract (N65236-07-D-7878) to pro­vide sup­port ser­vices which include iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, analy­sis, selec­tion, test­ing and eval­u­a­tion of solu­tions to warfight­er require­ments for com­mand, con­trol, com­mu­ni­ca­tions, com­put­er, cyber, intel­li­gence, sur­veil­lance, and reconnaissance/chemical, bio­log­i­cal, radi­o­log­i­cal, nuclear and explo­sive sen­sors and sen­sor-relat­ed tech­nol­o­gy. The cumu­la­tive val­ue of this con­tract, includ­ing this mod­i­fi­ca­tion, is $39,422,254. Work will be per­formed in Pon­ca City, Okla., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by July 2011. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Space and Naval War­fare Sys­tems Cen­ter Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the con­tract­ing activity.
