USAUS Military contracts for FY10

U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

McNeil Tech­nolo­gies, Inc., Spring­field, Va., has been award­ed a $500,000,000 max­i­mum val­ue, five-year indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty lin­guist sup­port ser­vices con­tract by U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand. The con­trac­tor will pro­vide all per­son­nel, equip­ment, tools, mate­ri­als, supervision/management, and oth­er items and ser­vices nec­es­sary to pro­vide for­eign lan­guage inter­pre­ta­tion, tran­scrip­tion, report­ing, and trans­la­tion ser­vices to sup­port over­seas con­tin­gency oper­a­tions. The ini­tial oblig­a­tion amount is $50,000,000 for the first task order. The con­tract num­ber is H92222-10-D-0007.

AIR FORCE

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Lock­heed Mar­tin Space Sys­tems Co., Sun­ny­vale, Calif., was award­ed a $57,000,000 con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion which will pro­vide for space vehi­cle prepa­ra­tion and ship­ping to the launch site, pre-launch check-out, fuel­ing, weigh­ing, final close­outs, inte­gra­tion with launch vehi­cle and space vehi­cle launch. At this time, $6,860,855 has been oblig­at­ed. MSCW/PKA, Los Ange­les Air Force Base, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (F04701-02-C-0002; PO0409). 

Booz Allen Hamil­ton, Inc., Hern­don, Va., was award­ed a $24,800,278 con­tract which will pro­vide Naval Under­sea War­fare Cen­ter New­port Exper­i­men­ta­tion Plan­ning and Con­cept Generation/Development Sur­viv­abil­i­ty Analy­sis. At this time, $224,500 has been oblig­at­ed. 55 CONS/LGCD, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SP0700-03-D-1380; Deliv­ery Order 382). 

Booz Allen Hamil­ton, Inc., Hern­don, Va., was award­ed a $17,999,463 con­tract which will pro­vide Crim­i­nal Inves­ti­ga­tion Task Force All-Source Intel­li­gence Analy­sis. At this time, $3,500,000 has been oblig­at­ed. 55 CONS/LGCD, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SP0700-03-D-1380; Deliv­ery Order 375). 

Sier­ra Neva­da Corp., Sparks, Nev., was award­ed a $12,472,304 con­tract which will pro­vide con­soles for inte­gra­tion onto MC-130W air­craft. At this time, the entire amount has been oblig­at­ed. ASC/WISS, Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8629-09-C-2445).

BAE Sys­tems Tech­nol­o­gy Solu­tions & Ser­vices was award­ed a $6,300,788 con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion which will pro­vide non-per­son­al ser­vices to oper­ate, main­tain and sup­port the Perime­ter Acqui­si­tion Radar Attack Char­ac­ter­i­za­tion Sys­tem and site at Cav­a­lier Air Force Sta­tion, N.D. At this time, no funds have been oblig­at­ed. 21 CONS/LGCZB, Peter­son Air Force Base, Colo., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA2517-09-C-8000; PO0043). 

NAVY

SRI Inter­na­tion­al, Men­lo Park, Calif., is being award­ed a $22,540,804 firm-fixed-priced con­tract to pro­vide Flex­train Sys­tem mul­ti-mis­sion train­ing sup­port to the Army Nation­al Guard. This require­ment is for the Flex­train Sys­tem to sup­port the Exportable Com­bat Train­ing Capa­bil­i­ty and Mobile Vir­tu­al Train­ing Capa­bil­i­ty for Army Nation­al Guard. Flex­train pro­vides mul­ti-lev­el/­mul­ti-mis­sion sup­port in a wide vari­ety of train­ing envi­ron­ments. Work will be per­formed in Men­lo Park, Calif., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Sep­tem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The Naval Sur­face War­fare Cen­ter, Indi­an Head, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00174-10-C-0058).

Elec­tric Boat Corp., Gro­ton, Conn., is being award­ed a $17,903,100 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed basic order­ing agree­ment con­tract (N00024-10-G-4314) to sup­port sub­ma­rine repair work at Portsmouth Naval Ship­yard on Los Ange­les-class and Vir­ginia-class sub­marines dur­ing on-going avail­abil­i­ties. Ships sched­uled to under­go main­te­nance avail­abil­i­ties repairs include USS Vir­ginia (SSN 774) and USS San Juan (SSN 751). Work will be per­formed in Portsmouth, N.H., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by March 2011. Con­tract funds will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Super­vi­sor of Ship­build­ing, Con­ver­sion and Repair, Gro­ton, Conn., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

SmithK­lineBeech­man, dba GSK, Philadel­phia, Pa., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $21,337,380 firm-fixed-price, sole-source con­tract for med­ical sup­plies. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, and Air Force. There was orig­i­nal­ly one pro­pos­al solicit­ed with one response. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Dec. 30, 2011. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM2DP-10-C-0001).
