U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

DRS Sys­tems, Inc., Par­sip­pa­ny, N.J., was award­ed a five-year indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract with firm-fixed-price deliv­ery orders for the pur­chase of Spot on Tar­get in sup­port of U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand Pro­cure­ment Divi­sion. The esti­mat­ed con­tract val­ue is $40,218,000. The work will be per­formed in Dal­las, Texas, and Mel­bourne, Fla, and order­ing will be com­plet­ed by Novem­ber 2016. U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., is the con­tact­ing activ­i­ty (H92222-12-D-0003).

Dell Mar­ket­ing, L.P., Round Rock, Texas, was award­ed a $20,000,000 Gen­er­al Ser­vices Admin­is­tra­tion deliv­ery order for Microsoft licens­es and soft­ware assur­ance in sup­port of U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand. This con­tract was award­ed as a log­i­cal fol­low-on after approval of a jus­ti­fi­ca­tion and approval doc­u­ment as an excep­tion to full and open com­pe­ti­tion under the author­i­ty of FAR 8.405–6(a)(1)(i)©. The orig­i­nal Enter­prise Soft­ware Ini­tia­tive Gen­er­al Ser­vices Admin­is­tra­tion order to Dell was com­pet­ed as man­dat­ed in DFARS 208 via the Gen­er­al Ser­vices Admin­is­tra­tion Pro­gram. U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (H92222-12-F-0025).

NAVY

Elec­tric Boat Corp., Gro­ton, Conn., is being award­ed a $13,788,820 fixed-price incen­tive fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed unde­fin­i­tized con­tract action (N00024-03-C-2101) for war­ran­ty work on USS New Mex­i­co (SSN 779). Work will be per­formed in Gro­ton, Conn. (99 per­cent), and Quon­set Point, R.I. (1 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Super­vi­sor of Ship­build­ing Con­ver­sion and Repair, Gro­ton, Conn., is the con­tract­ing activity.
