USAUS Military contracts for FY12

NAVY

iGov Tech­nolo­gies, Inc., Reston, Va., is being award­ed a $64,637,423 firm-fixed-price con­tract to mod­ern­ize the exist­ing hard­ware with­in the Com­bat Oper­a­tions Cen­ter (COC). This effort will update and mod­ern­ize the COC to a sin­gle base­line while reduc­ing size weight and pow­er require­ments, replac­ing routers and servers, etc. The COC is an inte­grat­ed, mobile, com­mand and con­trol cen­ter con­sist­ing of shel­ter, pow­er, cabling, pro­cess­ing sys­tems, and trail­ers. This con­tract award mod­ern­izes the exist­ing hard­ware with­in the approved acqui­si­tion objec­tive. This con­tract con­tains options, which, if exer­cised, would bring the total con­tract val­ue to $96,907,500. Work will be per­formed in Tam­pa, Fla., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed June 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire by the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly com­pet­ed, with three offers received. The Marine Corps Sys­tem Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va. is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (M67854-12-C-2429).

Cap­co, Inc., Grand Junc­tion, Colo., is being award­ed a $30,336,000 firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract to man­u­fac­ture CCU-136 A/A and CCU-145/A impulse car­tridges. The CCU-136A/A impulse car­tridge pro­vides a pow­er source for the ejec­tion of coun­ter­mea­sures (chaff/flares) in the AN/ALE-39, AN/ALE-47, and AN/ALE-50 Coun­ter­mea­sures Dis­penser Sys­tem. The CCU-145/A is used for devices such as RR-188/AL chaff and M206 infrared coun­ter­mea­sure flares. This con­tract com­bines pur­chas­es for the Navy and the gov­ern­ments of Cana­da and Aus­tria under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Grand Junc­tion, Colo., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 5, 2017. None of the applic­a­ble pro­cure­ment of ammu­ni­tion Navy and Marine Corps, Over­seas Con­tin­gency Oper­a­tions Fund­ing and For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales will expire before the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The require­ment was solicit­ed as a small busi­ness set-aside and three offers were received in response to the solic­i­ta­tion. The Naval Sup­ply Weapon Sys­tems Sup­port, Mechan­ics­burg, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00104-12-D-K063).

AUSGAR Tech­nolo­gies, Inc.*, San Diego, Calif., is being award­ed a $12,297,527 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract to pro­vide 33 field ser­vice rep­re­sen­ta­tives to sup­port the Key­hole Sniper Optics and Route Clear­ance Optic Suite (RCOS/KH) Pro­gram. The RCOS/KH Pro­gram pro­vides knowl­edge supe­ri­or­i­ty to U.S. com­bat forces and is a crit­i­cal com­po­nent of the Joint Impro­vised Explo­sive Device Defeat Orga­ni­za­tion. Work will be per­formed in San Diego, Calif. (40 per­cent), and Afghanistan (60 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in June 2013. Con­tract funds in the amount of $5,820,000 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured pur­suant to FAR 6.302–1. The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Lake­hurst, N.J., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N68335-12-C-0319).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Mer­ck & Co., Inc., West Point, Pa., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract with a max­i­mum $11,555,970 for flu vac­cines. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Aus­tralia. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 through 2013 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. There were six pro­pos­als with five respons­es. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Sept. 28, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM2DP-12-D-0004).

Sanofi Pas­teur, Swift­wa­ter, Pa., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract with a max­i­mum $9,554,040 for flu vac­cines. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 through 2013 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. There were six pro­pos­als with two respons­es. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Sept. 28, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM2DP-12-D-0003).

Siko­rsky Air­craft Corp., Strat­ford, Conn., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price, sole-source con­tract with a max­i­mum $8,725,338 for tail rotor pylons. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Ore­gon. Using ser­vice is Navy. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2013 through 2015 Navy Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. There was one pro­pos­al with one response. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Nov. 30, 2015. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Avi­a­tion, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPRPA1-11-G-001Y-5150).

Sopak­co Pack­ag­ing, Mullins, S.C., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract with a max­i­mum $6,503,428 for var­i­ous snack items. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Army. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. There were four respons­es to the Web solic­i­ta­tion. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is June 21, 2014. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM3S1-12-D-Z201).
