USAUS Military contracts for FY12

AIR FORCE

Ace Tech­nol­o­gy Part­ners, LLC, Arling­ton Heights, Ill.; Blue Tech Inc., San Diego, Calif.; Fed­Store Corp., Rockville, Md.; Gen­er­al Dynam­ics IT, Need­ham, Mass.; Glob­al Tech­nol­o­gy Resources, Inc., Den­ver, Colo.; GTSI Corp., Hern­don, Va.; Iron Bow Tech­nolo­gies, LLC, Chan­til­ly, Va.; M2 Tech­nol­o­gy, Inc. San Anto­nio, Texas; and Red Riv­er Com­put­er Co., Clare­mont, N.H., are being award­ed a $6,900,000,000 firm fixed price, mul­ti­ple award, indef­i­nite deliv­ery, and indef­i­nite quan­ti­ty con­tract for the pur­chase of net­cen­tric prod­ucts for Air Force cus­tomers. This con­tract vehi­cle will pro­vide for com­mer­cial­ly avail­able off-the-shelf prod­ucts to sup­port the Inter­net Pro­to­col Net­work and will include the fol­low­ing cat­e­gories of net­cen­tric prod­ucts and asso­ci­at­ed sup­port world­wide: (1) net­work­ing equip­ment, (2) servers and stor­age, (3) periph­er­als, (4) mul­ti­me­dia, (5) soft­ware (not includ­ed on oth­er enter­prise licens­es), and (6) iden­ti­ty management/biometric hard­ware and asso­ci­at­ed soft­ware. This con­tract sup­ports the Glob­al Infor­ma­tion Grid archi­tec­ture, Defense Infor­ma­tion Infra­struc­ture, Air Force, and Defense Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Sys­tems info-struc­ture for com­put­er net­works and telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions net­work mis­sion areas. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance will be Air Force facil­i­ties. Work is to be com­plet­ed by July, 31, 2022. ESC/HIJK, Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty. NAVY

ITT Cor­po­ra­tion, Elec­tron­ic Sys­tems , Elec­tron­ic War­fare Sys­tems, Clifton, N.J., is being award­ed a $62,264,415 firm-fixed-price pro­duc­tion con­tract for the man­u­fac­ture and deliv­ery of 23 AN/ALQ-214(V)4 on-board jam­mer sys­tems, under Full Rate Pro­duc­tion Lot 9, for instal­la­tion on the F/A‑18 air­craft. Work will be per­formed in Clifton, N.J., (31 per­cent); San Jose, Calif., (26 per­cent); San Diego, Calif., (11 per­cent); Ran­cho Cor­do­va, Calif., ( 5 per­cent); Moun­tain View, Calif., (4 per­cent); Hud­son, N.H., (2 per­cent); West Spring­field, Mass., (2 per­cent); and var­i­ous loca­tions with­in the Unit­ed States, (19 per­cent); and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Novem­ber 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured pur­suant to FAR 6–3201‑1. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing (N00019-12-C-0002).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Car­di­nal Health, McGaw Park, Ill., was issued base con­tract SPM2DE-12-D-7346. The award is a fixed price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite delivery/indefinite quan­ti­ty, con­tract with a max­i­mum $20,000,000 for the pur­chase of lab­o­ra­to­ry sup­plies and equip­ment using the Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port Elec­tron­ic Cat­a­log (ECAT) Sys­tem. The con­tract cov­ers the selec­tion of a dis­trib­u­tor for the Lab­o­ra­to­ry ECAT Pro­gram which cov­ers the 48 con­tigu­ous states includ­ing Dis­trict of Colum­bia, Alas­ka, Hawaii, Europe and the Pacif­ic. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Fed­er­al Civil­ian Agen­cies. There were 12 respons­es to the Web pro­pos­al. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is April 12, 2013. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa. 

Carter Indus­tries, Inc.*, Olive Hill, Ky., was issued con­tract SPM1C1-11-D-1067. The award is a firm fixed price con­tract with a max­i­mum $12,199,680 for cov­er­alls. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Navy and Air Force. There were six respons­es to the Web pro­pos­al. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fical year 2012 through fis­cal 2013 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is April 16, 2013. The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa. 

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

DARPA has noti­fied The Boe­ing Com­pa­ny, St. Louis, Mo., of a -$13,660,799 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to an oth­er trans­ac­tion agree­ment (OTA) (HR0011-10–9‑0010). The goal of the Vul­ture Pro­gram was to design, devel­op, and man­u­fac­ture a flight demon­stra­tor. The pro­gram and its imple­ment­ing OTA are being descoped to include those ele­ments of the state­ment of work that can be accom­plished with the funds remain­ing that are of inter­est to both the Gov­ern­ment and Boe­ing sub­sys­tems in pho­to­voltaics and ener­gy stor­age sys­tems. Work will be per­formed in St. Louis, Mo. The work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 30, 2013. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the con­tract­ing activity.
