NAVY

Bech­tel Marine Propul­sion Corp., San Fran­cis­co, Calif., is being award­ed a $359,700,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-08-C-2103) for nuclear propul­sion work at the Bet­tis Atom­ic Pow­er Lab­o­ra­to­ry and Knolls Atom­ic Pow­er Lab­o­ra­to­ry. Work will be per­formed in Nor­wich, Conn. (84.9 per­cent); Mon­roeville, Pa. (12.5 per­cent); and Nor­folk, Va. (2.6 per­cent). Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. No com­ple­tion date or addi­tion­al infor­ma­tion is pro­vid­ed on Naval Nuclear Propul­sion Pro­gram con­tracts. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand is the con­tract­ing activity. 

The Boe­ing Co., Seat­tle, Wash., is being award­ed a $226,999,940 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed cost-plus-award-fee con­tract (N00019-04-C-3146) for ser­vices in sup­port of the P‑8A Sys­tem Devel­op­ment and Demon­stra­tion Pro­gram for the T‑1 and T‑3 air­craft. This mod­i­fi­ca­tion will sup­port inter­im flight clear­ance for the P‑8A air­craft in the spe­cial mis­sion con­fig­u­ra­tion. Work will be per­formed in Seat­tle, Wash. (59 per­cent); Bal­ti­more, Md. (32 per­cent); and St. Louis, Mo. (9 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in August 2016. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Northrop Grum­man Corp., Inte­grat­ed Sys­tems, Beth­page, N.Y., is being award­ed a not-to-exceed $157,942,000 advance acqui­si­tion con­tract for long lead mate­r­i­al and relat­ed sup­port for the full rate pro­duc­tion of five E‑2D Advanced Hawk­eye air­craft (Lot 1). Work will be per­formed in Syra­cuse, N.Y. (32.6 per­cent); Beth­page, N.Y. (15.5 per­cent); Dal­las, Texas (12.4 per­cent); Men­lo Park, Calif. (9.8 per­cent); Wood­land Hills, Calif. (6 per­cent); and var­i­ous loca­tions with­in the Unit­ed States (23.7 per­cent). The work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in March 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured pur­suant to FAR 6.302–1. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00019-12-C-0063).

The Boe­ing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being award­ed a $132,823,284 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-09-C-0086) to exer­cise an option for the pro­cure­ment of 12 EA-18G Lot 36 full rate pro­duc­tion air­borne elec­tron­ic attack kits and the asso­ci­at­ed non-recur­ring engi­neer­ing. Work will be per­formed in Bal­ti­more, Md. (41.1 per­cent); St. Louis, Mo. (36.3 per­cent); Beth­page, N.Y. (19 per­cent); and Fort Wayne, Ind. (3.6 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Northrop Grum­man Space and Mis­sion Sys­tems Corp., Reston, Va., is being award­ed a $36,646,047 deliv­ery order under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, cost-plus-incen­tive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00039-10-D-0028) for the pro­cure­ment of the Con­sol­i­dat­ed Afloat Net­works and Enter­prise Ser­vices (CANES) com­mon com­put­ing envi­ron­ment to include guid­ed mis­sile destroy­er (DDG) vari­ant first arti­cle; DDG vari­ant pro­duc­tion units; and mul­ti­pur­pose amphibi­ous assault ship vari­ant first arti­cle. This con­tract includes options, which, if exer­cised at the max­i­mum quan­ti­ties, would bring the cumu­la­tive val­ue of the con­tract to an esti­mat­ed $637,773,236. Work will be per­formed in San Diego, Calif., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Sep­tem­ber 2012. If all con­tract options are exer­cised, work could con­tin­ue until Sep­tem­ber 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The issuance of this deliv­ery order to Northrop Grum­man is the result of the CANES com­pet­i­tive down-select to a sin­gle con­trac­tor for con­tin­ued per­for­mance under the con­tract options for devel­op­ment, pro­duc­tion and logis­tics sup­port for CANES. The Space and Naval War­fare Sys­tems Com­mand, San Diego, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Bech­tel Plant Machin­ery, Inc., Mon­roeville, Pa., is being award­ed a $12,570,150 cost-plus-fixed-fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-12-C-2106) to exer­cise an option for naval nuclear propul­sion com­po­nents. Work will be per­formed in Mon­roeville, Pa. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. No com­ple­tion date or addi­tion­al infor­ma­tion is pro­vid­ed on Naval Nuclear Propul­sion Pro­gram con­tracts. Lock­heed Mar­tin, Mis­sion Sys­tems and Sen­sors, Moorestown, N.J., is being award­ed a $10,311,265 cost-plus-fixed-fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-09-C-5103) to exer­cise options for fis­cal 2012 Aegis Plat­form Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing Agent activ­i­ties and Aegis mod­ern­iza­tion advanced capa­bil­i­ty build engi­neer­ing. The Plat­form Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing Agent man­ages the in-ser­vice com­bat sys­tems con­fig­u­ra­tions, as well as the inte­gra­tion of new or upgrad­ed capa­bil­i­ty into the CG 57 and DDG 51 class of ships. Work will be per­formed in Moorestown, N.J. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Dec. 30, 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $213,000 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Gaithers­burg, Md., is being award­ed a $7,044,529 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed cost-plus-award fee con­tract (N63394-06-D-1170) for Aegis design agent engi­neer­ing and tech­ni­cal sup­port ser­vices for com­bat sys­tem ship qual­i­fi­ca­tion tri­als, bal­lis­tic mis­sile defense, and oth­er test and eval­u­a­tion events. This effort includes iden­ti­fy­ing, trou­bleshoot­ing, and resolv­ing Aegis Com­bat Sys­tem and Aegis Weapon Sys­tem (AWS) equip­ment inter­face issues; pro­vid­ing test engi­neer­ing; orig­i­nal equip­ment man­u­fac­tur­er field engi­neer­ing instal­la­tion; check­out ser­vices in sup­port of ordi­nance alter­ation; ship alter­ation upgrades for the AWS; and AN/UYQ con­fig­ured ships. This con­tract includes pur­chas­es from the gov­ern­ment of Japan (5 per­cent) under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Nor­folk, Va. (25 per­cent); Port Huen­eme, Calif. (20 per­cent); San Diego, Calif. (20 per­cent); May­port, Fla. (10 per­cent); Pearl Har­bor, Hawaii (10 per­cent); Moorestown, N.J. (5 per­cent); Everett, Wash. (5 per­cent); and Yoko­su­ka, Japan (5 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $5,687,198 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Port Huen­eme Divi­sion, Naval Sur­face War­fare Cen­ter, Port Huen­eme, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Toshi­ba Amer­i­ca Med­ical Sys­tems, Inc., Tustin, Calif., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the third option year on con­tract SPM2D1-09-D-8322/P00030. The award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $229,621,523 for radi­ol­o­gy sys­tems, sub­sys­tems and com­po­nents. O.E.S., Inc.*, Wain­wright, Alas­ka, was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the first option year on con­tract SP3300-10-C-0037/P00011. The award is a fixed-price-incen­tive-firm tar­get con­tract with a max­i­mum $8,426,742 for dis­tri­b­u­tion ser­vices pro­vid­ed to Defense Logis­tics Agency Dis­tri­b­u­tion, San Diego, Calif. Work will be per­formed in Fort Det­rick, Md., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of July 14, 2014. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with three bids received. U.S. SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND

Rock­well Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being award­ed a $17,200,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract for life cycle con­trac­tor sup­port on the Com­mon Avion­ics Archi­tec­ture Sys­tem and Cock­pit Man­age­ment Sys­tem cur­rent­ly installed on the A/MH‑6, MH-47, and MH-60 air­craft assigned to U.S. Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand. The work will be per­formed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Jan. 31, 2017. This con­tract was award­ed as sole-source after approval of a jus­ti­fi­ca­tion and approval doc­u­ment as excep­tion to full and open com­pe­ti­tion under the author­i­ty of FAR 6.302–1.
