L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Ver­tex Aero­space, L.L.C., Madi­son, Miss., is being award­ed a $26,344,361 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-09-D-0007) to exer­cise an option for orga­ni­za­tion­al, select­ed inter­me­di­ate, and lim­it­ed depot lev­el main­te­nance for F‑16, F‑18, H‑60, and E‑2C air­craft oper­at­ed by the adver­sary squadrons based at Naval Air Sta­tion, Fal­lon, Nev. Work will be per­formed in Fal­lon, Nev., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Octo­ber 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $26,344,361 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Siko­rsky Air­craft Corp., Strat­ford, Conn., is being award­ed a $19,453,196 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N00019-07-D-0004) to exer­cise an option for secu­ri­ty, project engi­neer­ing, inte­grat­ed logis­tics sup­port, VH train­ing, and tech­ni­cal man­u­al updates in sup­port of the VH-60N and VH-3D pres­i­den­tial heli­copter fleet. Work will be per­formed in Strat­ford, Conn. (88 per­cent), and Quan­ti­co, Va. (12 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2012. Funds will not be oblig­at­ed at time of award. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Mimar Archi­tects, Inc.*, Bal­ti­more, Md., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, archi­tect-engi­neer­ing con­tract for civil/structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical/fire pro­tec­tion ser­vices in sup­port of projects at mil­i­tary instal­la­tions through­out the Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic area of respon­si­bil­i­ty (AOR). The work to be per­formed pro­vides for archi­tect-engi­neer­ing ser­vices includ­ing, but not lim­it­ed to: build­ing con­struc­tion and addi­tion of spe­cial projects and mil­i­tary con­struc­tion facil­i­ties; gen­er­al build­ing ren­o­va­tion work; life safe­ty code stud­ies; marine facil­i­ties; facil­i­ty plan­ning; plans; spec­i­fi­ca­tions; design-bid-build pack­ages; design-build request for pro­pos­al pack­ages; gov­ern­ment col­lat­er­al equip­ment lists; project pre­lim­i­nary haz­ard analy­sis; obtain­ing per­mits and reg­u­la­to­ry approvals; review of con­tract sub­mit­tals; field con­sul­ta­tion and inspec­tion dur­ing con­struc­tion; Unit­ed States Green Build­ing Coun­cil lead­er­ship in ener­gy and envi­ron­men­tal design; check­lists and sus­tain­able design reports; oper­a­tion and main­te­nance sup­port infor­ma­tion; sus­tain­able engi­neer­ing design prac­tices; and record doc­u­men­ta­tion prepa­ra­tion. Task order 0001 is being award­ed at $85,293 to pro­vide sup­port ser­vices for the repairs and ren­o­va­tions to Build­ing 534, at Naval Sub­ma­rine Base New Lon­don, Gro­ton, Conn. Work for this task order is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Feb­ru­ary 2012. Work will be per­formed in the Mid-Atlantic North­east AOR includ­ing, but not lim­it­ed to, Rhode Island (20 per­cent), Maine (20 per­cent), Con­necti­cut (15 per­cent), New Jer­sey (15 per­cent), Penn­syl­va­nia (10 per­cent), New York (5 per­cent), New Hamp­shire (5 per­cent), Mass­a­chu­setts (5 per­cent), Ver­mont (3 per­cent), and Delaware (2 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Octo­ber 2016. Con­tract funds in the amount of $85,293 are oblig­at­ed on this award and will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via the Navy Elec­tron­ic Com­merce Online web­site, with 65 pro­pos­als received. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, Mid-Atlantic North­east Inte­grat­ed Prod­uct Team, Nor­folk, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N40085-12-D-1700).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Goodrich Air­craft Wheels and Brakes, Troy, Ohio, was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion on the cur­rent con­tract SPRHA1-09-C-0042/P00008. Award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $14,319,535 for C‑130 main wheel and brake assem­blies. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Air Force. There were four solic­i­ta­tions made with two respons­es. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is Improved Item Replace­ment Pro­gram Sup­ply Man­age­ment Activ­i­ty using fis­cal 2012 funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Sept. 30, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Avi­a­tion Ogden, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the con­tract­ing activity.
