The award will pro­vide for the sup­port ser­vices in sup­port of the U.S. Army Maneu­ver Cen­ter of Excel­lence in its mis­sion to devel­op and prod­uct train­ing strate­gies, doc­trine, capa­bil­i­ties, analy­sis, instruc­tion and prod­ucts for the cur­rent and future force. Work loca­tion will be deter­mined with each task order, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Sept. 30, 2016. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with 34 bids received. The Mis­sion Con­tract­ing Office, Fort Bragg, N.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

     Gen­er­al Atom­ics Aero­nau­ti­cal Sys­tems, Inc., Poway, Calif., was award­ed a $30,279,377 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the mod­i­fi­ca­tion of an exist­ing con­tract for addi­tion­al engi­neer­ing ser­vices for the MQ-1C Gray Eagle Unmanned Air­craft Sys­tem pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Poway, Calif., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Aug. 30, 2012. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-09-C-0136).

     Kip­per Tool Co., Gainesville, Ga., was award­ed a $15,201,212 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide mod­i­fi­ca­tion of an exist­ing order to pro­cure 61 stan­dard auto­mo­tive tool sets. Work will be per­formed in Gainesville, Ga., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of May 31, 2012. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, War­ren, Mich., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (DAAE20-03-D-0085).

     Ware­On­Earth Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, Inc., North Charleston, S.C., was award­ed a $12,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the mod­i­fi­ca­tion of an exist­ing con­tract to pro­vide oper­a­tions and main­te­nance ser­vices in sup­port of the High Per­for­mance Com­put­ing Man­age­ment Pro­gram, Defense Research and Engi­neer­ing Net­work. Work loca­tion will be deter­mined with each task order, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of March 7, 2014. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Test and Eval­u­a­tion Com­mand, Mis­sion Sup­port Con­tract­ing Activ­i­ty, Ford Hood, Texas, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W9115U-07-D-0002).

     Logis­tics Ser­vices Inter­na­tion­al, Inc., Jack­sonville, Fla., was award­ed an $11,203,191 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the design, devel­op, inte­grate, test, deliv­ery, and instal­la­tion ser­vices for two Black­hawk main­te­nance train­ers for the UH-60M in sup­port of the U.S. Army Avi­a­tion Logis­tics School. Work will be per­formed in Jack­sonville, Fla., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of March 9, 2014. Four bids were solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-12-F-0002).

     Wise Web Con­nec­tions, L.L.C., Dover, N.J., was award­ed a $9,500,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the mechan­i­cal and engi­neer­ing sup­port ser­vices for Benet Lab­o­ra­to­ries. Work will be per­formed in Water­vli­et, N.Y., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Oct. 7, 2016. One bid was solicit­ed, with two bids received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Picatin­ny Arse­nal, N.J., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W15QKN-12-D-0001).

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY 

     Sys­tem High Corp., Chan­til­ly, Va., is being award­ed an $89,495,679 cost-plus-award-fee con­tract. This work is for con­trac­tor sup­port ser­vices for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Sup­port Ser­vices Office, Secu­ri­ty and Intel­li­gence Direc­torate for the peri­od of Dec. 1, 2011 through Dec. 31, 2012; and if options are exer­cised, through Dec. 31, 2016. Work will be per­formed in Arling­ton, Va., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Dec. 31, 2016. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (HR0011-12-C-0024).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY 

     US Food­ser­vice — Atlanta Divi­sion, Fair­burn, Ga., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion on the cur­rent con­tract SPM300-12-D-3383/P0011. Award is a firm-fixed-price, prime ven­dor bridge con­tract with a max­i­mum $58,022,835 for food and bev­er­age sup­port. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army and Air Force. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is July 28, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

    Rein­hart Food­ser­vice, L.L.C., doing busi­ness as IJ, a divi­sion of Rein­hart Food­ser­vice, Val­dos­ta, Ga., was award­ed a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite-quan­ti­ty, prime ven­dor, bridge con­tract for a max­i­mum $27,462,891 for full line food ser­vice dis­tri­b­u­tion. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Navy. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Oct. 16, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM300-12-D-3411).

     Sysco Food­ser­vice — Alaba­ma, Calera, Ala., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price, prime ven­dor, bridge con­tract for a max­i­mum $27,237,771 for food and bev­er­age sup­port. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army and Air Force. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is July 28, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM300-12-D-3384).

NAVY

     Lock­heed Mar­tin, Mis­sion Sys­tems & Sen­sors, Mitchel Field, N.Y., is being award­ed a $39,977,957 cost-plus-incen­tive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract to pro­vide the fis­cal year 2012 and fis­cal year 2013 U.S. and U.K. TRIDENT II (D5) Nav­i­ga­tion Sub­sys­tem Engi­neer­ing Sup­port Ser­vices require­ments. Spe­cif­ic efforts include U.S. and U.K. Fleet Sup­port, U.S. and U.K. Train­er Sys­tems Sup­port, Ohio Replace­ment Pro­gram Sup­port, Engi­neer­ing Refu­el­ing Over­haul Sup­port, Nav­i­ga­tion Sub­sys­tem stud­ies. This con­tract con­tains options, which if exer­cised, will bring the con­tract total to $94,676,774. The work will be per­formed in Mitchel Field, N.Y., (99.8 per­cent) and Man­as­sas, Va. (0.2 per­cent), and work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed March 31, 2014. Con­tract funds in the amount of $30,701,193 expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The Strate­gic Sys­tems Pro­grams, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00030-12-C-0002).

AIR FORCE

     Sci­ence Appli­ca­tions Inter­na­tion­al Corp., McLean, Va., is being award­ed a $25,000,000 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract to advance pas­sive elec­tro-opti­cal tech­nolo­gies for hyper-spec­tral tar­get detec­tion and mate­r­i­al iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, extend­ed range sens­ing with polar met­ric and oth­er non-lit­er­al sen­sors, and per­sis­tent sur­veil­lance. AFRL/PKSE, Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FAB650-12-D-1344).

     Gen­er­al Atom­ics Aero­nau­ti­cal Sys­tems, Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being award­ed a $15,053,962 firm-fixed-price con­tract for the Ital­ian Air Force MQ‑9 Reaper Pro­gram pro­vid­ing for two MQ‑9 Reaper air vehi­cles; three LYNX Block 30 radars; and one spare engine. The con­tract sup­ports For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales to Italy (100 per­cent). ASC/WIIK, Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8620-10-G-3038 0006). 

     Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $7,214,015 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion for the F‑22 Struc­tur­al Main­te­nance and Repair Team. ASC/WWUK, Wright Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8611-08-C-2897 PO0093).
