     ViaSat, Carls­bad, Calif., is being award­ed a $14,127,671 cost-plus-fixed-fee deliv­ery order for the devel­op­ment, qual­i­fi­ca­tion, and deliv­ery of the Mul­ti­func­tion­al Infor­ma­tion Dis­tri­b­u­tion Sys­tem Joint Tac­ti­cal Radio Sys­tem Block Cycle One cryp­to­graph­ic mod­ern­iza­tion update. Work will be per­formed in Carls­bad, Calif.      Data Link Solu­tions, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being award­ed an $8,042,356 cost-plus-fixed-fee deliv­ery order for the devel­op­ment, qual­i­fi­ca­tion, and deliv­ery of the Mul­ti­func­tion­al Infor­ma­tion Dis­tri­b­u­tion Sys­tem Joint Tac­ti­cal Radio Sys­tem Block Cycle One cryp­to­graph­ic mod­ern­iza­tion update. Work will be per­formed in Wayne, N.J. (90 per­cent), and Cedar Rapids, Iowa (10 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by May 6, 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured because it is a sole-source acqui­si­tion. The syn­op­sis was released via the Fed­er­al Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties web­site on March 29, 2010. The Space and Naval War­fare Sys­tems Com­mand in San Diego, Calif., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00039-10-D-0031).

AIR FORCE

     Rock­well Col­llins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being award­ed a $10,530,874 cost-plus-award-fee, time-and-mate­r­i­al, and firm-fixed-price con­tract mod­i­fi­ca­tion to exer­cise the KG-3X pro­duc­tion options for the Air Force and Navy. The KG-3X mod­ern­iza­tion pro­gram pro­vides replace­ment and cryp­to­graph­ic units used with the Min­i­mum Essen­tial Emer­gency Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Net­work and fixed Sub­ma­rine Broad­cast Sys­tem Net­work. CPSD/HNCK, Lack­land Air Force, San Anto­nio, Texas, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8722-04-C-0004, P00071). 

     WV Tech­nol­o­gy Group, Inc., Elli­cott City, Md., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $24,900,900 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract with cost-plus-fixed-fee and firm-fixed-price orders to devel­op, enhance, test, and eval­u­ate alpha and beta error detec­tion iso­la­tion con­tain­ment toolset tech­nolo­gies for the transition/transfer from the lab­o­ra­to­ry results to the warfight­er envi­ron­ment. The Air Force Research Laboratory/RIKD, Rome, N.Y., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8750-11-D-0099).
