DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Valero Mar­ket­ing and Sup­ply Co., San Anto­nio, Texas, is being award­ed a max­i­mum $180,745,475 fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract, for avi­a­tion tur­bine fuel. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Cor­pus Christi, Texas. Using ser­vice is Defense Logis­tics Agency Ener­gy. The orig­i­nal pro­pos­al was Web-solicit­ed with five respons­es. The con­tract is for one base year with no addi­tion­al options. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Oct. 30, 2011. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Ener­gy, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SP0600-11-D-0450).

US Food­ser­vice, Fair­burn, Ga., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $49,520,728 fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, sole-source, prime ven­dor, bridge con­tract for food and bev­er­age sup­port. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army and Air Force. The orig­i­nal pro­pos­al was Web-solicit­ed with three respons­es. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Oct. 16, 2011. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM300-10-D-3401).

Sysco Food­ser­vice of Sysco Alaba­ma, Calera, Ala., is being award­ed a max­i­mum $22,500,000 fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, sole-source, prime ven­dor, bridge con­tract for food and bev­er­age sup­port. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, and Air Force. The orig­i­nal pro­pos­al was Web-solicit­ed with one response. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Oct. 16, 2011. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM300-10-D-3410).

NAVY

Booz Allen Hamil­ton, Nor­folk, Va., is being award­ed a $44,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for readi­ness and met­rics sup­port for the fleet readi­ness enter­prise and war­fare enter­pris­es. Work will be per­formed in var­i­ous loca­tions in the con­ti­nen­tal Unit­ed States, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Jan­u­ary 2011. Con­tract funds will not expire before the end of the fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly award­ed through the Navy Elec­tron­ic Com­merce Online and Fed­er­al Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties web­sites, with three offers received. The Fleet and Indus­tri­al Sup­ply Cen­ter, Nor­folk, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00189-08-D-0022).

Prog­e­ny Sys­tems Corp.*, Man­as­sas, Va., is being award­ed a $9,475,409 indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pric­ing for the devel­op­ment and mod­i­fi­ca­tion of client serv­er appli­ca­tions that pro­vide access to non-propul­sion elec­tron­ic sys­tems on USS Vir­ginia class sub­marines and var­i­ous com­mer­cial off-the-shelf sub­sys­tems. This require­ment includes the estab­lish­ment of a “fly away” team and asso­ci­at­ed equip­ment to sup­port the required time­ly ser­vice world­wide. This one-year con­tract includes four one-year options which, if exer­cised, would bring the cumu­la­tive val­ue of this con­tract to a poten­tial $49,904,517. Work will be per­formed in Portsmouth, Va. (50 per­cent), and Gro­ton, Conn. (50 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Oct. 14, 2011. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured as this award con­sti­tutes a Small Busi­ness Inno­va­tion Research (SBIR) pro­gram Phase III fol­low-on effort to con­tin­ue devel­op­ment of sub­sys­tems devel­oped under Phase II. This award is derived from and extends efforts per­formed under pri­or SBIR fund­ing agree­ments and is autho­rized under 10 U.S.C. 2304(b)(2) or 41 U.S.C. 253(b)(2). The Space and Naval War­fare Sys­tems Cen­ter Pacif­ic is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N66001-11-D-0030).
