US Military contracts for FY11

NAVY
     Raytheon Co., Inte­grat­ed Defense Sys­tems, San Diego, Calif., is being award­ed a $60,360,995 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-11-C-2404) for the pro­cure­ment, pro­duc­tion, and test of the Inte­grat­ed Ship­board Elec­tron­ics (ISE) for Land­ing Plat­form Dock (LPD) 26 with an option for LPD 27 ISE.  This con­tract includes options, which, if exer­cised, would bring the cumu­la­tive val­ue of this con­tract to $111,347,220.Work will be per­formed in San Diego, Calif., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Feb­ru­ary 2017. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity.

     Wyle Lab­o­ra­to­ries, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being award­ed a $33,693,891 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty mul­ti­ple award con­tract (N00421-03-D-0015) to exe­cute an award term for con­tin­ued E‑2C/E‑2D/C‑2 plan­ning, pro­gram, and finan­cial ser­vices in sup­port of the Navy (79 per­cent); and under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram, the gov­ern­ments of France, Tai­wan, Egypt, Japan, Sin­ga­pore, and Cana­da (21 per­cent). Work will be per­formed in Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2012. No fund­ing is being oblig­at­ed at time of award. Fund­ing will be oblig­at­ed on indi­vid­ual task orders as they are issued. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year.The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity.

     Raytheon Co., Tuc­son, Ariz., is being award­ed a $22,151,900 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-08-C-5401) for the pro­duc­tion of 50 Block 1 MK-44 Mod 2 Rolling Air­frame Mis­sile (RAM) guid­ed mis­sile round pack all-up-rounds. The RAM guid­ed Mis­sile Weapon Sys­tem is co-devel­oped and pro­duced under a NATO Coop­er­a­tive Pro­gram between the Unit­ed States and the Fed­er­al Repub­lic of Ger­many. RAM is a mis­sile sys­tem designed to pro­vide anti-ship mis­sile defense for mul­ti­ple ship plat­forms. Work will be per­formed in Tuc­son, Ariz. (49.7 per­cent); Otto­brunn, Ger­many (42.7 per­cent); Rock­et City, W.Va. (4.5 per­cent); and Andover, Mass. (3.1 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Feb­ru­ary 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity.

     Cana­di­an Com­mer­cial Corp., Gen­er­al Dynam­ics Land Sys­tems — Cana­da, Ontario, Cana­da, is being award­ed an $18,508,325 firm-fixed-priced, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty mod­i­fi­ca­tion under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67854-07-D-5028) for the pro­duc­tion of 275 rock­et pro­pelled grenade net kits in sup­port of the Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed (MRAP) Vehi­cle Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Waltham, Mass., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by May 2012. Con­tract funds will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year.Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY
     Physio-Con­trol, Inc., Red­mond, Wash., was issued a mod­i­fi­ca­tion exer­cis­ing the first option year on con­tract SPM200-07-D-8261/P00005. The award is a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $49,418,113 for defib­ril­la­tors and relat­ed acces­sories. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Vet­er­ans Admin­is­tra­tion and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. There were 61 respons­es to the solic­i­ta­tions. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2006/2016 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Dec. 7, 2016. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activity.

     John­son & John­son Health­care Sys­tems, on behalf of Ortho-McNell-Janssen Phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals, Inc., Pis­cat­away, N.J., was award­ed a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract with a max­i­mum $43,246,524 for phar­ma­ceu­ti­cals. Oth­er loca­tion of per­for­mance is Ken­tucky. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. There were 11 respons­es to the Defense Logis­tics Agency Inter­net Bid Board Sys­tem. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2011 War-stop­per Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Dec. 5, 2012. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM2D0-12-D-0001).
