The Combat Service Support Command
(CSS Command)

The symbol of the SAF Combat Service Support Command is represented by an early Gothic triangular shield. On the shield, two braids, each consisting of nine gold lime leaves, are depicted within the black border. The stalks of the two lower leaves are crossed and the braids form a gold garland. The braids encompass both central elements of the coat of arms, an ionic capital as a symbol of support and a sword as a symbol suggesting armed and highly trained forces.
The main tasks of the Combat Service Support Command, which was established in July 2002, are maintenance of material and technology, ammunition management, securing military installations and co-operation with the civil sphere. Furthermore it is responsible for the planning, organization, co-ordination and provision of logistic support for armed forces and commands of the SAF in Slovenia and outside the country during missions.
