DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

Carothers Con­struc­tion, Inc., Oxford, Miss., is being award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract on June 27 to build a new com­mis­sary at Coraopo­lis, Pa. The award amount is $11,997,000. The con­tract is for a 480 cal­en­dar day per­for­mance peri­od begin­ning approx­i­mate­ly June 27, 2012, through Oct.18, 2013. Offers were solicit­ed via full and open com­pe­ti­tion and 10 offers were received. The Defense Com­mis­sary Agency, Enter­prise Acqui­si­tion Divi­sion, Con­struc­tion Design Branch, Lack­land Air Force Base, Texas, is the con­tract­ing activity.

NAVY

Raytheon Co., McK­in­ney, Texas, is being award­ed a $22,026,612 firm-fixed-price con­tract to standup organ­ic depot capa­bil­i­ty for test and repair of the AN/AAS-44 Mul­ti-spec­tral Tar­get­ing System‑A/B at Fleet Readi­ness Cen­ter South­east Jack­sonville, Fla. Work will be per­formed in McK­in­ney, Texas (55 per­cent); Jack­sonville, Fla. (35 per­cent); and El Segun­do, Calif. (10 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 2014. The applic­a­ble Air Force Bud­get Pro­gram funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This sole-source con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. NAVSUP Fleet Logis­tics Cen­ter Jack­sonville, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N68836-12-C-0020).

Dyn­Corp Inter­na­tion­al, L.L.C., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed $10,513,927 mod­i­fi­ca­tion under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed cost-plus-award-fee con­tract (N62742-08-C-1115) to exer­cise the fifth option peri­od to pro­vide ser­vices for Philip­pines oper­a­tions sup­port in the Repub­lic of the Philip­pines for the Joint Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Task Force — Philip­pines. The work to be per­formed pro­vides for all labor, super­vi­sion, man­age­ment, tools, mate­ri­als, equip­ment, facil­i­ties, trans­porta­tion, inci­den­tal engi­neer­ing, and oth­er items nec­es­sary to pro­vide sup­port ser­vices. After award of this option, the total cumu­la­tive con­tract val­ue will be $181,775,364. Work will be per­formed in the Repub­lic of the Philip­pines, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Sep­tem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $8,910,028 are oblig­at­ed on this award and will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, Pacif­ic, Pearl Har­bor, Hawaii, is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Raytheon Co., El Segun­do, Calif., is being award­ed a $6,722,785 cost-plus-fixed-fee deliv­ery order against a pre­vi­ous­ly issued basic order­ing agree­ment (N00019-10-G-0006) for upgrades to the F/A‑18 AN/APG-79 Active Elec­tron­i­cal­ly Scanned Array (AESA) radar com­mer­cial depot. These upgrades will pro­vide the depot with the capa­bil­i­ties to diag­nose and val­i­date repairs of the Roy­al Aus­tralian Air Force APG-79 AESA radar under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in El Segun­do, Calif. (70 per­cent), and For­est, Miss. (30 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in August 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Muir Cop­per Canyon Farms*, Salt Lake City, Utah, was award­ed a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $10,277,563 for fresh fruits and veg­eta­bles for non-Depart­ment of Defense cus­tomers in Ida­ho. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is U.S. Depart­ment of Agri­cul­ture school and reser­va­tion cus­tomers. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012–2013 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. There were two respons­es to the Defense Logis­tics Agency Inter­net Bid Board Sys­tem solic­i­ta­tion. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Dec. 26, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM-30012-D-S136).
