U.S. Trans­porta­tion Com­mand is mod­i­fy­ing con­tracts with Maer­sk Line, Ltd., Nor­folk, Va. (for a face val­ue of $197,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09- D‑0040); Amer­i­can Pres­i­dent Lines, Ltd., Inc., Scotts­dale, Ariz. (for a face val­ue of $147,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0028); Far­rell Lines, Inc., Nor­folk, Va. (for a face val­ue of $44,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09- D‑0034); Amer­i­can Roll-on, Amer­i­can Roll-off Car­ri­er, L.L.C., Park Ridge, N.J. (for a face val­ue of $40,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0029); Lib­er­ty Glob­al Logis­tics, L.L.C., Lake Suc­cess, N.Y. (for a face val­ue of $28,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09- D‑0039); Hapag-Lloyd USA, L.L.C., Tam­pa, Fla. (for a face val­ue of $25,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09- D‑0036); and Cen­tral Gulf Lines, Inc., Mobile, Ala. (for a face val­ue of $9,000,000; mod­i­fi­ca­tion to mod­i­fi­ca­tion to HTC711-09-D-0031). These mod­i­fi­ca­tions will extend the peri­od of per­for­mance under the Uni­ver­sal Ser­vices Contract‑6 Pro­gram for an addi­tion­al three months, March 31 to June 30, 2012. These con­tracts pro­vide ocean and inter­modal dis­tri­b­u­tion ser­vices world­wide. Funds are only oblig­at­ed upon car­go book­ings and the amounts above are only an esti­mate to cov­er the three-month exten­sion, as need­ed. U.S. Trans­porta­tion Com­mand, Direc­torate of Acqui­si­tion, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

NAVY

Bell Heli­copter Tex­tron, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $56,750,000 advance acqui­si­tion con­tract to pro­vide long lead parts and com­po­nents required for the man­u­fac­ture of Lot 10 UH-1Y (15) and AH-1Z (13) heli­copters for the Marine Corps in sup­port of the H‑1 upgrade pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Fort Worth, Texas (60 per­cent), and Amar­il­lo, Texas (40 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured pur­suant to FAR 6.302–1. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00019-12-C-0009).

Gen­er­al Elec­tric Avi­a­tion, Lynn, Mass., is being award­ed an $8,831,994 order against a pre­vi­ous­ly issued basic order­ing agree­ment (N00019-09-G-0009) for the F404 Com­po­nent Improve­ment Pro­gram to include engi­neer­ing and engine sys­tem improve­ment sup­port. Work will be per­formed in Lynn, Mass., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Gen­er­al Dynam­ics Arma­ment and Tech­ni­cal Prod­ucts, Burling­ton, Vt., is being award­ed a $6,875,640 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-10-C-5141) for the pro­duc­tion of Aegis gun and guid­ed mis­sile direc­tors, MK82 Mod 0; and Aegis direc­tor con­trollers, MK 200 Mod 0 in sup­port of DDG 116. The MK 82 direc­tor serves to posi­tion the fire con­trol sys­tem anten­na to a posi­tion in space for the pur­pose of illu­mi­nat­ing the tar­get. The direc­tor con­troller MK 200 hous­es the sol­id-state ser­vo-ampli­fiers pro­vid­ing the ser­vo dri­ve sig­nals, which then posi­tion the direc­tor to the desired tar­get posi­tion. Work will be per­formed in Burling­ton, Vt., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Jan­u­ary 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

AIR FORCE

The Boe­ing Co., Hunt­ing­ton Beach, Calif., is being award­ed a $20,693,458 a firm-fixed-price for pro­cure­ment of 17,873–507 very high frequency/ultra high fre­quen­cy mod­ules for the Com­bat Sur­vivor Evad­er Loca­tor hand held radio and instal­la­tion of the new mod­ule into 3,273 hand held radios. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Hunt­ing­ton Beach, Calif. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by April 30, 2013. Space and Nuclear Net­works Divi­sion, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8807-05-C-0004 P00084). 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Ameri­Qual Group, L.L.C., Evans­ville, Ind., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract with a max­i­mum $15,864,815 for var­i­ous poly­mer­ic entree ration items. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. There were two respons­es to the Web solic­i­ta­tion. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Feb. 28, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM3S1-12-D-Z197).
