USAUS Military contracts for FY12

NAVY

Northrop Grum­man Sys­tems Corp., Beth­page, N.Y., is being award­ed a $781,500,000 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-10-C-0044) for the man­u­fac­ture and deliv­ery of five low rate ini­tial pro­duc­tion Lot 4 E‑2D Advanced Hawk­eye air­craft. Work will be per­formed in Syra­cuse, N.Y. (25.36 per­cent); Beth­page, N.Y. (25.10 per­cent); St. Augus­tine, Fla. (19.3 per­cent); El Segun­do, Calif. (5.34 per­cent); Indi­anapo­lis, Ind. (4.84 per­cent); Men­lo Park, Calif. (4.64 per­cent); Rolling Mead­ows, Ill. (2.50 per­cent); and var­i­ous loca­tions with­in the Unit­ed States (12.92 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by May 2015. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

BAE Sys­tems Tac­ti­cal Vehi­cle, L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being award­ed $118,382,589 for firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty deliv­ery order 0009 mod­i­fi­ca­tion under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67854-07-D-5030) for the pro­cure­ment of 371 Caiman mul­ti-the­ater vehi­cle rolling chas­sis with over­pack kits and Caiman under­body sur­viv­abil­i­ty kits. Work will be per­formed in Sealy, Texas, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Decem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $118,382,589 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Nav­is­tar Defense, L.L.C., War­renville, Ill., is being award­ed $109,501,008 for firm-fixed-priced deliv­ery order 0020 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67854-07-D-5032) for the pro­cure­ment of 650 DXM Plus kits in sup­port of the MaxxPro Plus Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed (MRAP) vehi­cles. Work will be per­formed at the MRAP Sus­tain­ment Facil­i­ty in Kuwait, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by the end of Octo­ber 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $109,501,008 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

BAE Sys­tems Tac­ti­cal Vehi­cle, L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being award­ed $23,680,264 for firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty deliv­ery order 0012 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67854-07-D-5030) for con­ti­nen­tal Unit­ed States inte­gra­tion and repair of Caiman Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed mul­ti-the­ater vehi­cles. Work will be per­formed in Sealy, Texas, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Decem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $23,680,264 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

BAE Sys­tems Tac­ti­cal Vehi­cle, L.P., Sealy, Texas, is being award­ed $6,605,018 for firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty deliv­ery order 0010 mod­i­fi­ca­tion under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67854-07-D-5030) for the pro­cure­ment of engi­neer­ing changes to the Caiman Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed (MRAP) mul­ti-the­ater vehi­cle. Work will be per­formed in Sealy, Texas, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Jan­u­ary 2013. Con­tract funds in the amount of $6,605,018 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Hys­ter Co., Greenville, N.C., was award­ed a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment con­tract with a max­i­mum $633,000,000 for pro­cure­ment of com­mer­cial type mate­r­i­al han­dling equip­ment which includes fork­lifts, man lifts, plat­form lifts, scis­sor lifts, tele­scop­ic boom lifts, artic­u­lat­ing boom lifts, reach stack­ers, con­tain­er han­dlers, tow trac­tors and ware­house trac­tors. Oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance are Ken­tucky, Italy, and the Nether­lands. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. There were 26 solic­i­ta­tions with 26 respons­es. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012 through fis­cal 2017 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is Jan. 23, 2017. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM8EC-12-D-0001).

ARMY

L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Corp., Sys­tems Field Sup­port, Madi­son, Miss., was award­ed a $69,277,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the ser­vices in sup­port of the world­wide fleet of C12/RC12/UC35 air­craft. Work will be per­formed in Madi­son, Miss., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Jan. 31, 2013. One bid was solicit­ed, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-10-C-0107).

Prop­per Inter­na­tion­al, Mayaguez, Puer­to Rico (W911QY-12-D-0006), and Ten­nessee Appar­el Corp, Tul­la­homa, Tenn. (W911QY-12-D-0007), were award­ed a $45,000,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the pro­cure­ment of 1,670 fuel han­dler cov­er­alls from each con­trac­tor. Work loca­tion will be deter­mined with each task order, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Jan. 16, 2017. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with three bids received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Nat­ick, Mass., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Northrop Grum­man Sys­tems Admin­is­tra­tion, Cincin­nati, Ohio, was award­ed a $20,000,000 firm-fixed-price and cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the ser­vices in sup­port of the unat­tend­ed ground sen­sor sys­tems. Work will be per­formed in Cincin­nati, Ohio, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Jan. 13, 2017. Sev­en bids were solicit­ed, with four bids received. The U.S. Army Con­tract­ing Com­mand, Adel­phi, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W911QX-12-D-0001).

CDM Fed­er­al Pro­grams Corp., Gulf­port, Miss., was award­ed a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the envi­ron­men­tal sup­port ser­vices to the U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, Mobile Dis­trict. Work will be per­formed in Mobile, Ala., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Jan. 12, 2017. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with 14 bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, Mobile, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W91278-12-D-0010).

PDC Engi­neer­ing, Inc., Anchor­age, Alas­ka, was award­ed a $7,000,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the mechan­i­cal and elec­tri­cal design ser­vices. Work will be per­formed in var­i­ous loca­tions in Alas­ka, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Jan. 4, 2017. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with five bids received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, Jber, Alas­ka, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W911KB-12-D-0005).

Dutra Dredg­ing Co., San Rafael, Calif., was award­ed a $6,888,755 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the dredg­ing ser­vices in areas around Plaque­m­ines Parish, La. Work will be per­formed in Plaque­m­ines Parish, La., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Feb. 28, 2012. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, New Orleans, La., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W912P8-12-C-0008).
