USAUS Military contracts for FY12

NAVY

Northrop Grum­man Sys­tems Corp., Beth­page, N.Y., is being award­ed a $31,863,590 cost-plus-fixed-fee deliv­ery order against a pre­vi­ous­ly issued basic order agree­ment (N00019-10-G-0004). This order will pro­cure non-recur­ring inte­grat­ed logis­tics sup­port required in sup­port of the E‑2D Advanced Hawk­eye Low Rate Ini­tial Pro­duc­tion Air­craft Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Beth­page, N.Y., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in May 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.

Hon­ey­well Tech­nol­o­gy Solu­tions, Inc., Jack­sonville, Fla., is being award­ed a not-to-exceed $12,689,441 cost-plus-fixed-fee task order 0059 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67004-09-D-0020) to pro­vide logis­ti­cal ser­vices in sup­port of prin­ci­pal end item retrograde/redeployment at For­ward Oper­at­ing Base Dwyer in Afghanistan. Work will be per­formed with­in Afghanistan, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Sep­tem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. U.S. Marine Corps, Blount Island Com­mand, Jack­sonville, Fla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.

Lock­heed Mar­tin, Mis­sion Sys­tems and Sen­sors, Moorestown, N.J., is being award­ed a $6,821,228 cost-plus-fixed-fee with per­for­mance incen­tives, cost-plus-award-fee, and cost-plus-fixed-fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-09-C-5103) to exer­cise options for fis­cal 2012 Aegis Plat­form Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing Agent activ­i­ties and Aegis Mod­ern­iza­tion Advanced Capa­bil­i­ty Build engi­neer­ing. Work will be per­formed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Decem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton Navy Yard, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.

AIR FORCE

Aero Tur­bine, Inc., Stock­ton, Calif., is being award­ed a $13,000,000 firm-fixed-price con­tract to pro­vide reman­u­fac­tur­ing ser­vices for the J85-GE‑5/-21 man­age­ment of items sub­ject to repair engine com­po­nents. These propul­sion items are inter­nal com­po­nents and assem­blies made of high strength steel alloys, cast­ings and forg­ings used on the J85 engine. Oth­er com­po­nents con­sist of acces­so­ry assem­blies. This require­ment will pro­vide per­for­mance-based ser­vices with tech­ni­cal, logis­ti­cal, logis­tics man­age­ment and reman­u­fac­tur­ing require­ments for the return of unser­vice­able J85 com­po­nents to a ser­vice­able con­di­tion for Air Force man­aged items and com­mon items to the user com­mu­ni­ty. This require­ment sup­ports the train­ers used to pre­pare pilots for fight­er air­craft such as the F‑15, F‑16 and A‑10. This effort is a 100-per­cent small busi­ness set-aside. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Stock­ton, Calif. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Jan. 31, 2014. 848 SCMG/PKAB, Tin­ker Air Force Base, Okla., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8122-12-D-0003).

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Mari­et­ta, Ga., is being award­ed a $7,967,982 firm-fixed-price con­tract for pro­cure­ment of C‑5 Large Air­craft Infrared Coun­ter­mea­sure Sys­tem (LAIRCM) Group A hard­ware and assem­bly of the Group B (gov­ern­ment-fur­nished parts) parts with the Group A hard­ware into nine C‑5 LAIRCM kits; and ini­tial spare parts. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Mari­et­ta, Ga., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed Aug. 25, 2013. ASC/WLSK, Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8625-07-C-6473, Mod­i­fi­ca­tion P00031).

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $7,024,566 firm-fixed-price con­tract for instal­la­tion of a com­mer­cial sen­sor and asso­ci­at­ed hard­ware to mea­sure the oxy­gen con­cen­tra­tion and pres­sure with­in the oxy­gen sys­tem. The result will be a real time dis­play of O2 con­cen­tra­tion and a warn­ing if oxy­gen par­tial pres­sure drops below a thresh­old val­ue. The par­tial pres­sure of oxy­gen and hose pres­sure will also be data logged for use in post flight inves­ti­ga­tions. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Mari­et­ta, Ga. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Aug. 31, 2012. ASC/WWUK, Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8611-08-C-2897 P000109).
