USAUS Military contracts for FY11

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

     Gen­er­al Elec­tric Co., Lynn, Mass., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract for a min­i­mum $31,968,905 for air­craft tur­bine rotors. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Army. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is May 2015. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Avi­a­tion, Red­stone Arse­nal, Ala., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (W58RGZ-09-D-0041/ZB18).

     FN Man­u­fac­tur­ing, L.L.C., Colum­bia, S.C., was award­ed a firm-fixed-price con­tract for a max­i­mum $14,411,000 for auto­mat­ic weapon receiv­er com­po­nent. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vice is Army. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is June 30, 2017. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Land, War­ren, Mich., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPRDL-12-D-0001).

NAVY

     Elec­tric Boat Corp., Gro­ton, Conn., is being award­ed a $7,069,682 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-09-C-2100) for pre­lim­i­nary design of an inte­grat­ed tube and hull robot­ic weld­ing sys­tem as part of con­tin­ued pro­cure­ment for com­mon mis­sile com­part­ment. This con­tract action com­bines pur­chas­es for the U.S. Navy and the gov­ern­ment of the Unit­ed King­dom under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales Pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Fort Collins, Colo. (48 per­cent), Knoxville, Tenn. (32 per­cent), and Coatsville, Pa. (20 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plete by March 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Super­vi­sor of Ship­build­ing Con­ver­sion and Repair, Gro­ton, Conn., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.
