USAUS Military contracts for FY11

NAVY

                Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Lock­heed Mar­tin Aero­nau­tics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $535,315,000 advance acqui­si­tion con­tract to pro­vide long lead parts and com­po­nents required for the man­u­fac­ture of 38 Low Rate Ini­tial Pro­duc­tion (LRIP) Lot VI F‑35 Light­ning II Joint Strike Fight­er air­craft (19 Con­ven­tion­al Take­off and Land­ing (CTOL) air­craft for the Air Force; 4 CTOLs for the gov­ern­ment of Italy; 2 CTOLs for the gov­ern­ment of Aus­tralia; 6 Short Take-Off Ver­ti­cal Land­ing (STOVL) air­craft for the U.S. Marine Corps; and 7 Car­ri­er Vari­ant (CV) air­craft for the Navy).  Work will be per­formed in Fort Worth, Texas (35 per­cent); El Segun­do, Calif. (25 per­cent); Warton, Unit­ed King­dom (20 per­cent); Orlan­do, Fla. (10 per­cent); Nashua, N.H. (5 per­cent); and Bal­ti­more, Md. (5 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2012.  Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year.  This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured.  The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00019-11-C-0083).

                Bell-Boe­ing Joint Project Office, Amar­il­lo, Texas, is being award­ed a $34,186,000 deliv­ery order against a pre­vi­ous­ly issued basic order­ing agree­ment (N00019-07-G-0008) for the Block 20/C Upgrade to the CV-22 Train­ing Devices, includ­ing the Cab­in Oper­a­tional Flight Train­er (COFT), Cab­in Part Task Train­er, and the Wing Part Task Train­er.  Work will be per­formed in Mesa, Ariz. (57 per­cent); Fort Worth, Texas, (34 per­cent); and Rid­ley Park, Pa. (9 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in June 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year.  The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

                TCOM Lim­it­ed Part­ner­ship, A/K/A TCOM, L.P.*, Colum­bia, Md.,  is being award­ed a $12,354,993 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N68335-11-C-0250) for the pro­cure­ment of hard­ware in sup­port of Phase III of the Per­sis­tent Ground Sur­veil­lance Sys­tems (PGSS) for the Army.  Hard­ware to be pro­vid­ed includes three 28M+ aero­stat sys­tems and three site spares to out­fit and enhance the capa­bil­i­ties of the exist­ing PGSS cur­rent­ly field­ed.  Work will be per­formed in Eliz­a­beth City, N.C., (90 per­cent); and Colum­bia, Md., (10 per­cent) and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Octo­ber 2011.  Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year.  The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Lake­hurst, N.J., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

                G‑W Man­age­ment Ser­vices, LLC*, Rockville, Md., is being award­ed $9,620,237 for firm-fixed-price task order #0013 under a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed mul­ti­ple award con­struc­tion con­tract (N40080-10-D-0498) for design and con­struc­tion of a spe­cial com­mu­ni­ca­tions require­ments engi­neer­ing facil­i­ty at Web­ster Field Annex, Naval Air Sta­tion Patux­ent Riv­er.  The work to be per­formed pro­vides for the con­struc­tion of a mul­ti-sto­ry steel frame build­ing with stan­dard spread foot­ing, stand­ing-seam met­al roof­ing with steel truss roof fram­ing, and mason­ry exte­ri­or.  The exte­ri­or includes admin­is­tra­tive spaces, stor­age and work spaces, com­mu­ni­ca­tion rooms, and lab­o­ra­to­ry space.  Work will be per­formed in Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Jan­u­ary 2013.  Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year.  Five pro­pos­als were received for this task order.  The Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

AIR FORCE

               Lock­heed Mar­tin Cor­po­ra­tion, MS2 Radar Sys­tems, Liv­er­pool, N.Y., is being award­ed a $30,167,558 firm-fixed-price con­tract for mod­ern­iza­tion of 29 AN/FPS 117 long range radars via the essen­tial parts replace­ment pro­gram.  Work will be per­formed at Liv­er­pool, N.Y.  The OO-ALC/GHSKA at Hill Air Force Base, Utah is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8217-11-C-0005-P00002)

              Lock­heed Mar­tin Cor­po­ra­tion, Lock­heed Mar­tin Sim­u­la­tor, Train­ing and Sup­port, Orlan­do, Fla., is being award­ed a $84,321,924 firm-fixed-price con­tract to pro­vide four weapon sys­tems train­ers to sup­port Air Mobil­i­ty Com­mand, Air Com­bat Com­mand and Air Force Spe­cial Oper­a­tions Com­mand.  The ASC/WNSK at Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8621-11-C-6288).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY 

            North Amer­i­can Res­cue, LLC, Greer, S.C. was award­ed con­tract SPM2D0-11-D-0001.  The award is a fixed price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite deliv­ery and indef­i­nite quan­ti­ty con­tract with a max­i­mum $8,097,856 for med­ical and sur­gi­cal com­po­nents and sup­plies.  There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance.  Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies.  The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is August 7, 2012.  The con­tract­ing activ­i­ty is the Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa.
