USAUS Military contracts for FY11

NAVY

Oshkosh Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being award­ed $125,065,919 for fixed-price deliv­ery order #0117 under their exist­ing indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (M67854-06-D-5028). This deliv­ery order is issued against exer­cised priced options for the pur­chase of 232 logis­tic vehi­cle sys­tem replace­ment (LVSR) pro­duc­tion trac­tor vehi­cles; 68 LVSR pro­duc­tion wreck­er vehi­cles; 300 Rox­tec pass through pan­els; 300 pow­er dis­tri­b­u­tion box­es; 300 Pio­neer tool brack­ets; 300 slave valve cau­tion data plates; prepa­ra­tion for the instal­la­tion of gov­ern­ment fur­nished equip­ment for 300 vehi­cles; ship­ping for 300 vehi­cles; and applic­a­ble fed­er­al retail excise tax. Work and all the pro­duc­tion will be per­formed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Dec. 30, 2012. The con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Marine Corps Sys­tem Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.

Cana­di­an Com­mer­cial Corp., Gen­er­al Dynam­ics Land Sys­tems — Cana­da, Ontario, Cana­da, is being award­ed a $42,239,322 firm-fixed-priced mod­i­fi­ca­tion under pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (M67854-07-D-5028) for the labor and mate­ri­als for pack­ag­ing and kit­ting of 51 sep­a­rate engi­neer­ing change pro­pos­al (ECP) vehi­cle upgrade kits into one indi­vid­ual kit. These kits will be deliv­ered to Kuwait and installed on RG-31 Mine Resis­tant Ambush Pro­tect­ed (MRAP) vehi­cles. There will be 691 indi­vid­ual kits pre­pared. This pro­cure­ment also includes the pack­ag­ing and kit­ting of sev­en ECP kits for instal­la­tion on 350 deliv­ery order #0003 vari­ant MRAP vehi­cles. Work will be per­formed in Johnan­nes­burg, South Africa, and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed no lat­er than May 31, 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. Marine Corps Sys­tems Com­mand, Quan­ti­co, Va., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

SAIC Ener­gy, Envi­ron­ment & Infra­struc­ture, LLC, Okla­homa City, Okla., is being award­ed max­i­mum $7,500,000 firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty archi­tect-engi­neer­ing con­tract for com­plete archi­tect and engi­neer­ing ser­vices in the Naval Facil­i­ties Engi­neer­ing Com­mand (NAVFAC), South­east area of respon­si­bil­i­ty (AOR). Task order #0001 is being award­ed at $180,516 for the repair by replace­ment of Chief of Naval Air Train­ing Head­quar­ters Build­ing 1 at Naval Air Sta­tion Cor­pus Christi, Cor­pus Christi, Texas. Work for this task order is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Decem­ber 2011. All work will be per­formed at var­i­ous Navy and Marine Corps facil­i­ties and oth­er gov­ern­ment facil­i­ties with­in the NAVFAC South­east AOR includ­ing, but not lim­it­ed to: Louisiana (30 per­cent), Mis­sis­sip­pi (30 per­cent), Alaba­ma (15 per­cent), Flori­da (15 per­cent), and Texas (10 per­cent). KDH Defense Sys­tems, Eden, N.C., was award­ed on May 17 a $34,349,045 firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the pro­cure­ment of 60,343 improved out­er tac­ti­cal vests, uni­ver­sal cam­ou­flage pat­tern. Work will be per­formed in Eden, N.C., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of Jan. 30, 2012. Eight bids were solicit­ed, with five bids received. The award will pro­vide for the con­struc­tion of a Gen­er­al Instruc­tion Build­ing at Pre­sidio of Mon­terey, Calif. Work will be per­formed in Pre­sidio of Mon­terey, Calif., with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of May 24, 2013. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with 12 bids received. ECC Inter­na­tion­al, LLC, Vir­ginia Beach, Va., was award­ed on May 17 a $29,842,615 firm-fixed-price con­tract. The award will pro­vide for the con­struc­tion of the 209th Corps Gar­ri­son Group A locat­ed in Camp Sha­heen, Maser-e-Sharif Balkh Province, Afghanistan. Work will be per­formed in Camp Sha­heen, Afghanistan, with an esti­mat­ed com­ple­tion date of June 11, 2012. The bid was solicit­ed through the Inter­net, with six bids received. The award will pro­vide for the pro­cure­ment of 48,000 improved out­er tac­ti­cal vests in Oper­a­tion Endur­ing Free­dom cam­ou­flage pat­tern.
