USAUS Military contracts for FY11

NAVY

Bell-Boe­ing Joint Project Office, Amar­il­lo, Texas, is being award­ed a $24,272,627 cost-plus-fixed-fee deliv­ery order against a pre­vi­ous­ly issued basic order­ing agree­ment (N00019-07-G-0008). This order will pro­vide engi­neer­ing and tech­ni­cal sup­port for man­age­ment of the MV-22 and CV-22 Air Force vari­ant flight con­trol sys­tem and on-air­craft avion­ics soft­ware. This work will sup­port con­fig­u­ra­tion changes to the soft­ware of V‑22 air­craft for avion­ics and flight con­trols, flight test plan­ning and coor­di­na­tion of changed avion­ics and flight con­trol con­fig­u­ra­tions, upgrade plan­ning of avion­ics and flight con­trols, includ­ing per­for­mance of qual­i­fi­ca­tion test­ing and inte­gra­tion test­ing on soft­ware prod­ucts. Work will be per­formed in Philadel­phia, Pa. (90 per­cent), and Fort Worth, Texas (10 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds in the amount of $5,171,886 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

BAE Sys­tems Infor­ma­tion and Elec­tron­ics, Nashua, N.H., is being award­ed a $17,285,819 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price con­tract (N00019-10-C-0019) to exer­cise an option for the Low Rate Ini­tial Pro­duc­tion I of 600 Advanced Pre­ci­sion Kill Weapons Sys­tem guid­ance sec­tions for the Navy, includ­ing ship­ping and stor­age con­tain­ers. Work will be per­formed in Nashua, N.H., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Novem­ber 2012. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Koll­mor­gen Corp., Northamp­ton, Mass., was award­ed a $14,717,016 firm-fixed-price mod­i­fi­ca­tion to pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed con­tract (N00024-07-C-6227-P00017) for pro­duc­tion of five Uni­ver­sal Mod­u­lar Mast (UMM) sys­tems for Navy sub­marines. The UMM pro­vides for devel­op­ment and acqui­si­tion of a non-hull pen­e­trat­ing mast that serves as a lift­ing mech­a­nism for five sen­sor con­fig­u­ra­tions (the pho­ton­ics mast, the mul­ti-func­tion mast, the inte­grat­ed elec­tron­ic mast, the high data rate mast and the pho­ton­ics mast vari­ant) on Vir­ginia-class and SSGN sub­marines. Work will be per­formed in Bologna, Italy (80 per­cent), and Northamp­ton, Mass. (20 per­cent), and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by March 2013. The con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activity.
