USAUS Military contracts for FY10

NAVY

Wyle Lab­o­ra­to­ries, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being award­ed a $28,698,738 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty mul­ti­ple award con­tract (N00421-03-D-0015) to exe­cute an award term for con­tin­ued E‑2C/E‑2D/C‑2 plan­ning, pro­gram, and finan­cial ser­vices in sup­port of the Navy and the gov­ern­ments of France, Tai­wan, Egypt, Japan, Sin­ga­pore and Cana­da under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Decem­ber 2011. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air War­fare Cen­ter Air­craft Divi­sion, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty.

Phoenix Inter­na­tion­al Hold­ings, Inc., Largo, Md., was award­ed on Dec. 2 a $10,000,000 cost-plus-award-fee indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for world­wide div­ing and div­ing-relat­ed ser­vices to sup­port the direc­tor of ocean engi­neer­ing, super­vi­sor of sal­vage and div­ing. This con­tract includes options which, if exer­cised, would bring the cumu­la­tive val­ue of this con­tract to $50,000,000. Work will be per­formed in Nor­folk, Va. (40 per­cent); San Diego, Calif. (20 per­cent); Aiea, Hawaii (20 per­cent); Largo, Md. (10 per­cent); and Bay­ou Vista, La. (10 per­cent). Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Decem­ber 2015. Con­tract funds in the amount of 50,000 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured with one pro­pos­al received via the Fed­er­al Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties web­site. The Naval Sea Sys­tems Com­mand, Wash­ing­ton, D.C., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00024-11-D-4115).

Elec­tric Boat Corp., Gro­ton, Conn., is being award­ed a $8,774,500 cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract defin­i­tiz­ing order to sup­port sub­ma­rine design and engi­neer­ing ser­vices for the Ohio-class replace­ment pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Gro­ton, Conn., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 2013. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract was not com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured. The Super­vi­sor of Ship­build­ing, Con­ver­sion and Repair, Gro­ton, Conn., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00024-09-C-2100).

Siko­rsky Air­craft Corp., Strat­ford, Conn., is being award­ed an $8,606,264 firm-fixed-price mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N00019-07-D-0004) to exer­cise an option for the VH-3D exec­u­tive heli­copter spe­cial pro­gres­sive air­craft rework induc­tion, includ­ing ven­dor repairables and com­po­nent over­haul. Work will be per­formed in Strat­ford, Conn., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in July 2011. Con­tract funds in the amount of $8,606,264 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Raytheon Co., Tuc­son, Ariz., is being award­ed an $8,345,335 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed firm-fixed-price, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract (N00019-09-D-0005) to exer­cise an option for con­trol and guid­ance sec­tion repairs for the AGM-88 High Speed Anti-Radi­a­tion Mis­sile for the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and the gov­ern­ment of Moroc­co under the For­eign Mil­i­tary Sales pro­gram. Work will be per­formed in Tuc­son, Ariz., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in May 2012. Con­tract funds in the amount of $8,345,335 will expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. This con­tract com­bines pur­chase for the U.S. Navy ($1,312,128; 16 per­cent); the U.S. Air Force ($6,401,175; 77 per­cent); and the gov­ern­ment of Moroc­co ($632,032; 7 per­cent). The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

AIR FORCE

DCG Sys­tems, Inc., Fre­mont, Calif., was award­ed a $13,259,716 con­tract which will pro­vide a log­ic analy­sis tool pro­gram is to inves­ti­gate new meth­ods for the func­tion­al test­ing of a cir­cuit to include log­ic states and tim­ing of indi­vid­ual tran­sis­tors and inter­nal nodes of an inte­grat­ed cir­cuit. At this time, $3,554,000 has been oblig­at­ed. AFRL/PKDA, Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8650-11-C-7105).
