MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

The Boe­ing Co., Seat­tle, Wash., is being award­ed a sole-source cost-plus-award-fee mod­i­fi­ca­tion for $40,222,995. Under this con­tract, Boe­ing will con­tin­ue post-flight exper­i­ment Laser 01 work with addi­tion­al mis­sile engage­ment sce­nar­ios and flight test­ing to include all required sup­port. Torch Tech­nolo­gies, Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being award­ed a Phase III Small Busi­ness Inno­va­tion Research indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty cost-plus-fixed-fee con­tract (HQ0006-10-D-7092) with a max­i­mum val­ue of $9,709,503. Under this con­tract, Torch Tech­nolo­gies will con­duct research and devel­op­ment on algo­rithms, oper­a­tional soft­ware, and a new con­cept of oper­a­tions for space and air­borne infrared track­ing sys­tems and mis­sile defense radars, sup­port­ing the Bal­lis­tic Mis­sile Defense Sys­tem.
