Afghanistan – Afghan, U.S. Special Forces Destroy Insurgent Munitions


Afghan National Army Commandos, Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Afghanistan and other Coalition forces removed a large cache of explosive material during a two-day operation in Panjawi district, Kandahar province Saturday.

During the joint operation between Afghan, U.S. and Coalition forces, more than 500 pounds of explosive material was found alongside other improvised explosive device making materials. All material, including a motorcycle rigged with explosives, was destroyed by the combined force.
