USAUS Military contracts for FY12

NAVY

L‑3 Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Corp., Lon­don­der­ry, N.H., is being award­ed a $49,958,000 firm-fixed-priced, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract for Spe­cial Oper­a­tions visu­al aug­men­ta­tion sys­tems binoc­u­lar night vision device (BNVD). The BNVD’s will pro­vide spe­cial oper­a­tions forces with enhanced sur­veil­lance, iden­ti­fi­ca­tion, recog­ni­tion, and detec­tion in all light and weath­er con­di­tions espe­cial­ly where vision is lim­it­ed or restrict­ed due to obscured and low/no light con­di­tions. Work will be per­formed in Lon­don­der­ry, N.H., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed in Feb­ru­ary 2017. This con­tract was com­pet­i­tive­ly pro­cured via the Fed­er­al Busi­ness Oppor­tu­ni­ties web­site, with three offers received. The Naval Sur­face War­fare Cen­ter, Crane, Ind., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00164-12-D-JQ01).

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Lock­heed Mar­tin Aero­nau­tics Co., Fort Worth, Texas, is being award­ed a $14,800,000 mod­i­fi­ca­tion to a pre­vi­ous­ly award­ed advance acqui­si­tion con­tract (N00019-11-C-0083) to pro­cure long lead items for F‑35 Light­ning II Joint Strike Fight­er low rate ini­tial pro­duc­tion Lot 6 short take-off ver­ti­cal land­ing (STOVL) air­craft for the Marine Corps. Work will be per­formed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is nec­es­sary to pro­tect the deliv­ery sched­ules of STOVL air­craft planned for deliv­ery through Decem­ber 2014. Con­tract funds will not expire at the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. The Naval Air Sys­tems Com­mand, Patux­ent Riv­er, Md., is the con­tract­ing activity. 

Northrop Grum­man Corp., Infor­ma­tion Sys­tems Divi­sion, Rolling Mead­ows, Ill., is being award­ed a $14,548,991 require­ments con­tract to repair 20 items sup­port­ing the Con­sol­i­dat­ed Auto­mat­ed Sup­port Sys­tem elec­tro-opti­cal test bench. Work will be per­formed in Rolling Mead­ows, Ill., and is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by Feb. 8, 2017. This con­tract con­tains option, which, if exer­cised, will bring the con­tract val­ue to $24,405,873. The applic­a­ble Navy Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds will not expire before the end of the cur­rent fis­cal year. One com­pa­ny was solicit­ed for this require­ment and one offer was received in response to the solic­i­ta­tion. NAVSUP Weapon Sys­tems Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (N00383-12-D-006P).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Den­tal Health Prod­ucts*, New Franken, Wis., was award­ed a fixed-price with eco­nom­ic price adjust­ment, indef­i­nite-deliv­ery/in­def­i­nite-quan­ti­ty con­tract with a max­i­mum $45,000,000 for dis­tri­b­u­tion of gen­er­al den­tal sup­plies. There are no oth­er loca­tions of per­for­mance. Using ser­vices are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and fed­er­al civil­ian agen­cies. There were 14 respons­es to the Web solic­i­ta­tion. Type of appro­pri­a­tion is fis­cal 2012/2013 Defense Work­ing Cap­i­tal Funds. The date of per­for­mance com­ple­tion is April 27, 2013. The Defense Logis­tics Agency Troop Sup­port, Philadel­phia, Pa., is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (SPM2DE-12-D-7459).

AIR FORCE

Lock­heed Mar­tin Corp., Liv­er­pool, N.Y., is being award­ed a $26,197,869 firm-fixed-price, cost-reim­bursable no fee, time-and-mate­r­i­al con­tract for fund­ing action and exer­cise of options for mod­ern­iza­tion of 29 AN/FPS-117 long range radars via the essen­tial parts replace­ment pro­gram. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Liv­er­pool, N.Y. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by June 20, 2016. OO-ALC/GHSKA, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8217-11-C-0005-P00003).

Gen­er­al Atom­ics Aero­nau­ti­cal Sys­tems, Inc., Poway, Calif., is being award­ed a $8,143,903 cost-plus-incen­tive-fee con­tract for MQ‑1 dig­i­tal video inte­gra­tion. The loca­tion of the per­for­mance is Poway, Calif. Work is expect­ed to be com­plet­ed by May 30, 2014. ASC/WIIK, Wright-Pat­ter­son Air Force Base, Ohio, is the con­tract­ing activ­i­ty (FA8620-10-G-3038–0074 14).
